Hi there everybody! While I am not entirely new to the boards, I haven’t been active until lately so I figure why not introduce myself now. So here are a couple tidbits.
I am located in a city that does not have a comic book store or anything even remotely similar that I could get SSC or related items through, which is rather frustrating.
I am pretty new to the collecting game. I started last year with my first purchase being the HT Resident Evil 5 B.S.A.A Jill Valentine through Sideshow, which I now fully regret because they lured me into starting a new, and expensive, collecting hobby.
As for what collect, I just buy whatever strikes my fancy. I don’t just buy certain lines, scales, or from certain studios. If it’s a character I really like or just a piece that I think looks really exceptional, then I’ll try to get it. Seeing as I’m no millionaire, I have to limit what I buy and I have to pass on a lot, but what is more important, I think, is that I don’t regret any of the purchases that I have made or any of the items that I have missed out on.
I currently only own 10 SSC pieces (with 2 on order) and 8 pieces from other studios (with 2 coming in). I had thought about putting pictures up in the collection section, but seeing some of those collections kind of made me not want to post my puny collection in there.
