forgot the R in the title; but Just curious to know if any Krusaders are watching Highlander on BRAVO ? I haven't seen it in a while, but it's a GREAT movie.

The other films in and of themselves are okay but nothing great. Highlander II was just a tragedy and III took what the producers thought people liked about the original (music & landscapes) and then put more of that in to the point of ridiculousness. That and the villain is ALWAYS a bad Kurgan clone. Say what you will - at least they tried a new direction with Endgame. Bruce Payne thankfully wasn't a Kurgan clone.

If nothing else, the lousy sequels and their poor-man's excuse for a Kurgan only support the fact of just how bad-ass Clancy Brown's Kurgan really is.

No kidding, Kane was just a blatant poor man's Kurgan. They even copied the crazy car ride scene.

Only good part of III was the montage of Connor in Scotland with that beautiful song playing.

Clancy Brown is quite the bad-ass. He was the only person would could be a more bad-ass as Lex Luthor in JL.

Only good part of III was the montage of Connor in Scotland with that beautiful song playing.

I watched it last week and noticed the copied Car Scene as well. And then there's the taking the loved one hostage (adopted son instead of girlfriend). And he used a katana as well. And the voice was identical (to the point of me wondering if it was dubbed). And the prostitute scene. And the mentor character who even used Ramirez's lines from the first movie.

Yeah - not an original thought in their head.

BTW - I've got the orchestral soundtrack to all three highlanders - quality of the movies aside the score is very good.

ehhh..I think that's pushing it. Tyler Mane was pretty gigantic and IMO a VERY nice sabretooth. Kevin spacey as luthor.....eh, if he had better writing he would have been MUCH better. ANYWAY, not to stray off topic, clancy brown is my hero.

Mane was big, I'll give you that, but he had all the screen presence of a wet cardboard box. Sabretooth is basically the Kurgan with claws instead of a sword, same sadistic personality. Clancy would have been perfect.

That is true. Clancy should have played Sabertooth, Wolverine, Storm, Jean Grey, Magneto, and Rogue. I think that would have been a good movie.

Well, I do think he would've made a better Storm than Halle Berry.
