I would love a SS tripod however....those were ____ing awesome...even if the movie was not.

I know, I know, but I'm asking, do they have the rights to do things based on the book art, or is that a seperate license/entity? Do they have plans for anything related to that if it's differant? Sorry I don't get licenses, they confuse me.

I always loved the Squid Walkers though and would love a collectible based on one.

As for the War Machine, I just came across a copper paint that leaves a mirrored finish (like the pegasus kit has), so Im dying to get ahold of one of these to repaint.

Wheres the cheapest I can get this, or does someone want to commission me to paint theirs?

I know this is an ancient thread, but were/are you actually serious?
Here's the thing: this replica comes with weirdly dark coppery stripes, which I didn't mind much at first, but are annoying the hell out of me now!
So I'm *actually* looking for someone to be able to do a really good, proper re-paint job ...but damn, it's hard to find those!
(It may not help that I'm in Europe...)
