For $1000 I think the base on this thing sucks....looks very cheap. No thank you, I'd rather stick with the whole body piece.

The base is just a variation of the SS 1:1 bust's base which rocks socks

The 1:2 scale Endo statue is the sexiest piece I own, it's so awesome. I'd forget the CM if I where you & make it your mission to get the 1:2 scale, you'll be very happy

The base looks very different from the other Sideshow pieces I have seen. I am not too sure what you are referring to when you say its a variation of sideshows

The point is all the busts have a base that's a slight variation of the other, it may be cheap looking though I don't think so & although the blue light isn't needed I can tell you it makes the piece look absolutely fantastic at night when your room is darker.
