I thought that "loose" meant without a box. These all had their original boxes and were returned to their packaging and twist-ties, so I didn't think that they were loose figures. I did think that since they had been previously removed form their boxes and displayed that they wouldn't be worth listing individually like the unopened X-Files figures. In the end, I got about as much as I was hoping from the ten auctions--enough to pay for my upcoming (rumor has it) Grievous, Princess Leia, and a considerable hunk of Hulk.
I wish I could have given those X-Files figures a good home, but I am just running out of space and those PFs are so darned big...

This imatlunch fella got a great deal. Lucky skunk. Pick a figure like $200 out of the air for the Ni, and it means the other figs sold for $15 each. Don't forget the extra stands. What a bargain.
It is just coming up with a lump of money out of the blue that one needs to be prepared for. It is a constant juggling act. I think you lost out in this deal Tom, then again you saved a bundle on adding a spare room. Repeat the past, get the idea, and you will, so start looking for a builder.

yeah, and don't forget the money Imatlunch saved by getting the whole set from one seller. getting all 14 of those figs seperately from, oh let's be generous and say 2 figs from 7 sellers. it would cost about $90-140 just in shipping, and that's if the sellers weren't like 70% of the Ebayers who try and jack up the shipping and "handling" costs to insane levels.
for ebay he did okay. i did think the Pythons would go for about $500 tho, but i think Tom set a new record for Alex!
