kind of a strange set up you have there cybervillian, IMO.

I would have put the screen and couch on the walls without the windows which seem to also be the walls closer together. even with that big a screen I think the quality goes down the farther you sit from it. plus, not a fan of covering the windows like that.

but everyone has their own tastes.

I am super envious of your house though. gorgeous floor and molding!

I agree that maybe the screen should go on the wall with the landscape painting. But nice set-up regardless.

And I also agree that the floors and molding are beautiful! LOVE the pocket doors!

Thanks guys. That house is almost as old as the states :p
I know, its not a optimum solution, but i needed space for storage so that ruled out those walls you speak of. Its not that bad actually, with the curtains down it shuts out all light, the picture is taken in the day with sunlight. When you roll the curtains up they are hardly noticeable.

A dedicated theatre would of course be the better choice. But i dont have the luxury to spare an entire room for that :/

BTW, i decided to go with the Antec Fusion chassis for convenience sake.

This is the 350... that while not as fancy still is nice.

Man, at where I work at, we just got the new 3D Tvs and blu-rays!!!!

sadly those things are puny :/ But i will scream the day when 3d projection is at the doorstep to us consumers. I allready have the Zalman 3D monitor and a pair of HMD's and its pretty cool gaming with those..

Wow, that must look awesome. I'm still a ways to go before I can invest in one of these, maybe this winter. But I am looking forward to this newer version of 3D. I was surprise at the price for the Tvs and 3D Blu ray players. I thought they were gonna be more expensive. I guess the technology is cheaper now.

HMD's are really expensive. I have the eMagins 3d visor. Those guys cost about 1000 dollars and they are only at 800x600. But for some reason 800x600 looks way better when you have them as glasses on your nose then on a screen.
