I'm pretty sure Nicholson gets a small cut of every Batman related film that's released too. I remember reading an article in Starlog from an issue around the time of Returns where Devito made a comment that Nicholson was on the set to pick up his pay check or some nonsense like that.

Love him or hate him, the guy wasn't an idiot. It was part of the deal of having Nicholson attached to the project. He knew all this Batman stuff was going to big, we can't say we wouldn't do the same.

While it doesn't feel too good to have the money go to a guy who, lets be honest, really doesn't need it, it really hurts when you think that his cut is probably more than the small percentage that the Reeve foundation gets from the Hot Toys Superman figure. Which is a good cause as far as I'm concerned.

That's marketing though.

It really does amaze me how most of you guys are posting $475-500+ as if it's no big deal paying that for 2 figures... crazy!

i'll get Batman, at the moment, joker is sitting there not winning me over just yet, i want it but for the price i'm gonna wait and see what else is up for 1st QTR 2012, if there isn't anything i want i'll get Joker.

If there is, bu-bye Joker.

At the moment, the only figures that are definitely on my radar are MGS, X:FC and Green Lantern, if any of those come for 1st QTR, then Joker won't be getting his face on my Money

I waited for this but now that Iv seen the price it has me worried how bad the Batmobile is going to be.I don't see how its going to be any less then 500$ although I am hoping for the best.

I think the prices are ridiculous personally, but I bought two of each figure any way. I know I'm giving in essentially but I'm pretty much done collecting after this Batman, Jack Joker and the Batmobile anyway. I already have the Toy Fairs Begins Batman and Christopher Reeve Superman on preorder. Spidey just came in and I think Hot Toys is done with Terminator.

Nothing left to get. This is the plateau when it comes to 1/6 collecting for me.

No dx luke or any other HT star wars?
