If they surprise us with a hatless hair piece, the hat'll be moot for me, though likely moot anyway, I don't think I'll ever use the hat or coat outside of photos, on display, the church tower look is better to me.

I would say the hat proportions are about as much of a miss as the pants pattern, but somehow the hat issues jump out more.

:lecture Yeah the pants don't even bother me. The hat I noticed immediately because it's right there I always loved how the hat had that huge brim in the comics and movie. Although i think it was much bigger in the comic...can't remember exactly.

Even Toybiz got it right :lol

Even though the head sculpt is really good, i feel this Joker is a slight missed opportunity. There are a ton, and I mean a TON of things you could do with this figure and a ton of accessories that could have been incorporated.

For instance you could at least have a separate "Jack" head with flesh makeup on, or even a black suit that you could change him into Napier.

You could have the artist outfit and the tuxedo he wears when he throws that pen into the mafia guys throat.

Im surprised they didn't make available a separate head. Who knows, maybe another Joker will be made? After all even Batman didn't have all the accessories he had in the movie...a battle damage Batman released later?

I'm pretty sure their saving most of that for other releases, because they know how popular Joker is and most will buy multiple versions of him. Could you imagine the cost if there had been a second sculpt?

And I think theres an article somewhere saying that HTs wants to make other versions, could be wrong but thought I read that somewhere on here.

Yes, more versions will be made. Besides, all the "extras" mentioned by Mayor really require a whole seperate figure not just a few things thrown in with this one.

Regarding alternate looks: I really like the gangster look.... but on the shelf the "mime" version would probably be the most dramatically different.

Yep. I love that look. That whole scene with his mime goons kinda creeped me out as a kid. It's third on my list of NicJoker wants from HT. A close second is a museum Joker.
