I order with Toys2 because its guaranteed no customs when they arrive in Ireland. Now that might still not be enough for some people given the huge shipping costs by Canadapost but also as a regular customer Toys2 will hold these figures for me if I'm not ready to pay for them. That way I will almost certainly not have to cancel these much-wanted figures.

Wonder if it's no Customs for the UK

The durability of PERS?

The only DX I have is DX01 Joker, and PERS snapped about half a year ago. Can anyone confirm whether this has or has not been an issue on the more recent DX figures? Have any other DX figures suffered from breaking PERS other than DX01? Thanks!

Fair enough, but only a fraction of the figure's price goes to labor, no? So a 47% price increase on the entire cost of the figure isn't right. Only that percentage of the figure's price which goes to labor should increase by 47%. Am I wrong about that?

No you're right about that.

Add the wage inflation to probably higher cost of this license versus the norm + the simple fact that HT CAN increase prices and still be confident of selling out these guys, all of that plays a part.

I broke down and pre-ordered. it's one of my favourite characters ever. The costuming on this is phenomenal. Not sure if I'll gets keaton bats although it's amazing too.

I don't own any DXs apart from Joker and Batman but I also have never heard of PERs problems apart from Joker

I have a Bats and Lee and no problems. And I can be pretty heavy handed in the beginning.

Anyone happen to know what scenes Joker did (or perhaps more concisely didn't) wear this outfit in? I guess I thought we wore the same thing through the entire movie (sometimes with the coat, other times without) apart from the "mime" scene, but I guess that's not the case? Thanks!

I nearly have all the dx's and the lastest one (bruce lee) has no problems whatsoever. The pers works great.

If they hold the figures for you, will you still be charged if you cancel them?

He hasn't charged me the cancellation fee on the, I think, 2 occasions I cancelled figures. He's holding stuff for me right now, has been for about 2 months at this stage, and I think it'd be very cheeky to cancel after he's done that for so long. I'm thinking one more payment into VISA and then I'll get him to charge and ship everything hes been holding for me so far. I don't want to completely take the p!$$ with the amount of figures and the amount of time he keeps them sitting there.

How can it be guaranteed no customs ? Do we own you guys ?

Nope but I didn't even get charged customs on the Tumbler let alone anything else I've ever ordered from Toys2.

What about London? Anyone know if i'd get the customs testicle clamping Ordering through toys2?

diFabio thank you for posting those pictures, i really hope hot toys does more than 1 joker. they have too, especially on a business point of view, and i'm sure a lot of people would buy more jack joker products.

Although I like the black suit look from when he first becomes Joker, I agree.


Maybe I can use my custom head to bash a black suit version since that's the scene Adam based the sculpt on.
