Berserker had one kill. The other two both were killed so stupid and heck how long were they even on the screen? P2 had been frozen shot up and you got the feeling DG got lucky. Mean while the baddest of the bad was out smarted and killed by a tooth pick and beaten down and really the movie did a good job of showing how easy a Predator can be beaten. The first two movies you felt like the Humans got lucky. P2 at least had a Predator kicking butt and moving around athletic like and he could take out many at one time and did several times. Predators had dip headed Predators standing around like they were bad *****. To bad they were real sissies and really didn't do anything cool at all. There wasn't even one shot of these guys using the trees like Predators do right? I could go on and on. Next time the film makes need to spend some money on the Predators and study what Predators do in the first two movies. I still like the figures very much but man that movie is a let down if you like your Predators to be bad ass hunters. It's obvious the Classic showed up to make these guys head home because they had no real hunting skills and it took 3 of them to beat him. If it were just two Classic wouldn't have any trouble at all. I guess the boots these new guys wear stop them from jumping and using the trees and what not. Maybe these 3 escaped out of a Predator jail and were wanabe hunters but just had no skill LOL.

Yeah I agree. I thought those "super" preds moved so awkwardly and I don't know if it was the actors in the suits or just the way it was shot. The only pred that was convincing was the tracker and he had about two minutes of screen time! I did enjoy the movie but I always thought, man how much cooler would it have been if wolf replaced these guys

i still don't get what you're basing "skill" on. in P2, it fought some dirtbag gang members, junkies, fbi agents, and cops. how hard would that be for anyone who had that kind of tech? in Predators, they fought an ex-black-ops mercenary, an IDF sniper, a Spetsnaz soldier, a Yakuza enforcer, etc. the sniper alone could've taken down Schaefer's team, who obviously had problems with hidden enemies who can single them out and blast them from a distance. and the preds were clearly smart/experienced enough to not get killed by the same stupid log trap that killed the P1. they weren't sniping anybody from trees and running away because they were different preds with different tactics.

also, the berserker didn't get beaten easily. he was already in a fight with another predator beforehand, he was blown up by grenades, half blinded, and was still about to beat Royce before Isabelle shot him clean through with a sniper rifle which saved Royce's ass. i'd call that pretty tough.

i understand you don't like this movie because it's different from the first 2. you got a sequel when you wanted a remake.

I feel like I did kind of get a remake and you can justify it all you want. What did any Predator do in this movie that was cool? I don't like how P2 got wasted either but at least in that movie you got lots of cool Predator action. These new guys were show and never really show speed and athletic skill and just didn't do anything cool. The movie makers made fun of P2 and they should take notes from P2. Next time lets see a lot more of the Predators being Predators and not standing there watching a guy pull out grenades and just waiting to be blown to bits. So stupid indeed. Hey it's cool you like it and I like all 4 of the HT Predators and will have them all. I get tracker this Friday and can't wait. I love the Wolf too but to bad his movie sucked too even though I like watching it for him. If only Predators had poor tracker in it more than 30 seconds. Lame but still a great figure and his death in the movie was pathetic.
I told everybody at work skinny Royce is the best fighting Predators bad ass in any of the movies. After seeing this Dutch would get his ass beat hand to hand with Royce and it wouldn't even be close. Hell Royce took it to the face twice with the baddest of the bad Predator kicking him right in the face. I guess those boots are soft rubber and not metal like they appear. If they are some kind of metal maybe in the next movie will find out Royce is in fact a Terminator and this will explain why he can take two kicks to the face by the baddest of the bad Predators. LOL. Hopefully in the next movie the film makes will also have the FX guys show off the Predators faces more and get real actors to play these guys. That Ian White guy did a great job as the Wolf and was fun to watch. I tried watching Predators last night and skip to all the fun Predator shots. I found myself thinking where were the cool shots. Oh well it's cool others like the movie and I wish I did too.

Do you really want to justify this and put the movie Predators against the bad ***** that were in Predator? I found the new movie BS and while watching Predator I felt like that team Dutch had were the best. You are the best and that's why you're here. Predator is just so much better written and Predators is more in the AVP league for me anyway. They did the movie cheap and it feels cheap. At least P2 feels like some money was spent and I think P2 could whip all three of these so called nastier clan Predators. At least you see P2 getting big air and doing cool Predator moves. The new guys were good at sticking their chest out and shooting guys in the back. Heck the convict just about kick the baddest of the bads ass with his make shift knife. How about the serial killer twist? Fat face Fishburn part was the worst casting ever and he killed how many Predators? Like I said this movie did good at making Predators easy to beat.
Even though I thought the movie was a let down the figures still look cool. For us older fans that were sitting in the movie back in 87 it sure would be nice to get a movie that was at least half that good. That P1 suit was done so much better and look so much more real. Maybe next time Fox will let SW guys come back and do their thing and while they're at it bring the great Steve Wang along for the ride.

yeah i'm not getting what you think the new preds did that makes them not act like preds. they hunted and killed people with advanced weaponry and stealth. the fact that they weren't jumping out of trees to do that doesn't really change the basic premise. and the movie went out of its way to establish the super preds are different from the regular kind. so i dunno what you were expecting.

i'm gonna agree to disagree on the wolf thing. don't even get me started on that movie.

side note - any chance there's gonna be more of those half-cloaked pred figures like you did with the wolf? i actually like how those look instead of just clear plastic.

In 87 we went to see an Arnold movie and after it ended there was a new star and it wasn't Arnold S. The P1 Predator was like a Terminator and you got a feeling a human had to be very lucky to beat him. After seeing Predators and the so called baddest of the bad I'm feeling like a joke must have been played on me. Oh well at least these HT Predators look great on the shelf. I don't know about everyone else but wouldn't it be nice to not have to go watch a low budget Predator movie. Think God Fox is letting Ridley Scott spend some money and hopefully will get Alien back on track. I feel Predator will stay like Freddy and Jason movies from now on. Too bad really because P1 was such a great ride and fits right in with classic like Alien,Aliens, Terminator and Robocop. The 80ies were the best of times I swear for movie monster fans like us.

there is no sense in even commenting on their screen presence. the movie was garbage, adrien brody ina fist fight with a pred? i dont think so.

i bought all these super preds, just because the figures themselves look amazing. the designs are great, and they have more shelf presence than alot of my other stuff. very happy with them, could care less for the movie.

Sorry about the rant man but as a huge Predator fan I just want to see a good fun Predator movie with lots of what we go to see in the movie. You know Predators. I feel like P2 got that right big time and I would admit the humans weren't all that good. I know we made a half cloaked Berserker which I like way better than our normal figure. It's hard for me to look at the Berserker 1 and 2 yuck. I don't really pay much attention to what were doing with the 3 new Predators because I'm way more geeked about P1 and P2.

I can't believe as much as I didn't like Predators I find myself getting all 4 HT figures. Maybe HT will do something so cool and put out that very cool creature that was killed before Fat Face showed up. I've seen the costume and that thing is killer. I wish we did a figure of it and what a waste it was in the movie. Heck we all thought it looked cooler than the Predators and it needs a figure. Bring it on HT and this new HT Tacker looks killer. Mine shows up Friday or Monday and it's always such fun knowing something cool is on the way.

Yeah I feel the same way and what a waste really. These Preds are great and since the movie was kind of a joke I'm not really caring that things on them are inaccurate. I love the paint and feel of them and great job for HT to be going back and doing improved P1 and P2 like these Predator figures hopefully. This Tacker figure looks so nice.

Think about the fact it was 1990 and how Kurt Russel might have fit into P2. I though Danny was OK but still someone athletic and cool like Kurt Russel would have made the movie much better. The movie has all kinds of problems but for me it's the second best Predator movie by far. In that movie you can skip around to fun scenes but can you do that watching Predators? I'm glad many fans can and I wish I were one of them.

If you want a figure do like me and get the kit. The film makes just took a Takkia kit and stole from it. One of them got it for me because the Stickman was so freaking cool. I rather have a articulated figure of it though and the suit sculpting was so well done and too bad you didn't really see it in the movie. Another huge waste just to unveil Fatface.

It's very cool and about 12 inches. The film makes stole right from it and I still need to get one of our painters to paint it up. I got it on eBay for around 110 dollars. If the film makers put this guy in the movie and you remember it I think we might have made the figure. It's so much cooler than the dog. It was flat out cool and I can't help but think what a great action figure it would be.

Type in Takayuki Takeya and do a yahoo search and then hit image. You'll find it and it's so apparent it was stolen and used for the stickman. I don't blame the film makers because it's so very cool. Takeya is much like Steve Wang with original designs. You know a real genius.

edit - oh duh, it's the guy who did all those kits/statues for Fewture. i have a few of those. yeah i definitely see a litigiously close resemblance to his stuff. probably related to why stickman looks awesome. i still want a figure.

In regards to the films I think we can say goodbye to seeing a Predator that behaves like they did in Predator and Predator 2. Rodriguez's super Predators are here to stay...

Tankman, I think you speak for a lot of people. We all get excited when a new predator movie is announced even though we know it will be a letdown when compared to the original. And your right about P2, it has tons of awesome predator action that has yet to be duplicated. I know AVPR sucked balls but at least it showed wolf being a true predator and having abilities much like the first two movies. I mean even AVP was able to pull off some good action as well. Predators had a good direction in the plot and all that but for them to not show us enough predator action just pissed me off, and the action they did show was nothing to get excited about. I know they wanted to go without the cgi as much as possible but you need to use it if you want the final outcome to be awesome. These creatures are supposed to be able to do things that human beings cannot do, so why am I supposed to believe some guy in a suit walking around is special?
