I would have loved to see Falconer defeat Hanzo in that duel, then Classic kill Falconer, then Mr. Black kill Classic, Brody kill Mr. Black, etc, etc.

That would have at least shown that no matter how good the quiet, lone wolf, tattooed, samurai badass was, he can't beat a Predator..and we wouldn't feel like Classic was completely worthless.

I loved that movie, but they made some incredibly stupid choices with it.

At the time I loved it but now I'm just content with it. I like the Pred designs and I really liked what they did with the hunting camp; it's just a shame the budget didn't allow for better sets like this one.

But as you said, they made some stupid choices and I'll never get over the fact that throughout the development of the film RR and co raved about how much better their 'ipod' Preds were. The original Predator will always be far superior and City Hunter will always be a perfect example of how you add something different to what we've seen before; and make it work.

What they could do is follow a clan of three.
Two of them die during a hunt against what we (the audience) think are humans.

The last remaining predator kills those who killed his clan members in some spectacular battle. He then gets on his ship and makes his way to Earth. This is the one bad ass you're referring to and is who we have been calling P1.

So in essence, a prequel of sorts.
This is what I would like to see as the next Predator movie.

The predator designs and Brody are probably my favorite things in the movie.

I never knew much about him before the movie, and now he's one of my favorite actors. I thought he nailed his role.

Yeah, to me it seems awkward to see HT Predators on sale, I'm more used to see them with higher prices than lower. Not that it's a bad thing at all.

I would have loved a pred movie based on the bad blood comic. Just 2 preds going at it for most of the movie, with a lot of human fodder in between.

Also the idea of a rogue predator that does not follow their code was a really unique concept

I would welcome that idea too.
Just wish they would stop emphasizing the lame human story lines and focus on the yautja for once.

Exactly right.
Script has to be creative enough so that we can follow along and understand exactly what's going on by their actions. Subtitles must be kept to a minimum.

Humans can be used to move the story along, but should never be the main emphasis.

Bit late to reply but hell to it because I'm loving your comment. I would of liked to see Classic wound Berserker bad as well while fighting & then Brody finish him off. I wish Noland hadn't died so easy too. To survive on that planet for so long & then get killed like that was lame but we all pretty much agreed on that already. Saying all that I still really enjoyed the movie

Yeah, it was still a fun watch, so long as you don't take it too seriously.

That's what they did, the humans kinda narrated the story with 2 preds just going at it. The pred spoke only in the final moments and it was killer. I would really recommend you guys check it out.
