is any one gonna get this and put it on a barney ross body?

I'm thinking of putting it on the new CM Toys muscle body that's being developed right now if this doesn't turn out as buff as I hope. Not making any decisions right now though. Will wait u til he's in hand which won't be a looooong while unfortunately.

Thanks for the update. I will use my spare Barney Ross body if the Bane body is smaller.. will wait for my pre-order to arrive before removing the tats on Barney.

Now, the waiting game continues.

Barney ROss body won't change much, basically it's pretty much the same body they used.

THe key is modifying the traps and necks.

I have used the same body as HT for my custom.
BUT I modified the traps and necks by sculpting on the body but beneath the rubber chest.

Just used Acetone to remove the tats... it works great.

O_O

Hope that was Acetone Free and not pure Acetone. Not only is Acetone a paint stripper but it eats through plastics as well.

Personally I used acetone to remove the tats on mine, if you're quick it doesn't have time to eat the plastic.

Well it was a prototype. I think it was rushed so it could be out in time for the movie.
I'm still getting him no matter what. I don't care that much about the body.

I have also PO'd Bane as I thought the likeness looked good and also with the coat on .. he does look cool! However I am with the others on the body. It is penned for release next year so despite the pictures we have seen, is it likely for HT to change the body so drastically before release? I am new to the game kinda so dont know how they work

Hot Toys making a drastic change of the body is wishful thinking,with that said I'm still getting this figure because I like the look with the jacket on.

It was talked about earlier in the thread that many members here don't like the lack of muscle in HT's Bane.. Then movie screen-grabs were released to the Internet, and we started seeing an "alright" proportion.

Maybe everyone is just seeing Bane as a very Hulk-ish character, like how we see comic-based toys where he is very big

fair point! .. i have seen the comics and the portrayal of Bane in that god awful film as this huge, like you say hulkish guy, but to see Tom Hardy play him in such a menancing way it was a good change. I am still very much looking forward to getting him! just a shame its so far away
