About time! Looks like sideshow is shipping mine in about 2 weeks. Amazing how these come out in China and then it takes 2 months to get to the US. -_____-

The chinese new year delayed all of the US shipments. That two week notice is great to hear.

Maybe China just has horrible shipping to begin with. I live in Japan. A rock throw away from China and it still takes like 3 weeks for stuff to get here from Hong Kong. :(

Got bored and decided to take some photos...

NOTE: Yes, he's wearing the sweater under that coat, hence the added bulk.

Forgive me for such a stupid question, but why does HT not opt for a seamless body for their their figures?

Wear and tear, having rubber on a figure is always risky. I'd rather have a sturdy figure that holds together as time passes.

:exactly::goodpost:

Plus all the problems that they encountered with the Rambo , Leonidas , Batman , etc with the rubber deteriorating and cracking , they don't use that method anymore :wave

Can look good - avoid moving it too much and keep it away from heat and it's fine. I've owned every single rubber body Batman and none have cracked and I had them for years.

Nice one on the replacement body for Bane Jokes & Bats he looks awesome.

On a side note I have to compliment your avatar and signature is that Lauren Cohan?

"avoid moving it too much"

Yeah see, there's a reason I buy Hot Toys 1/6 figures and not statues or PF's. I like to play with my dolls.

me too!

the rubbery arms look nice, but they're not practical for peeps who like to play with their toys ~ heck the standard-issue arms have limited articulation as it is.

Ask any non-collector and they'll tell you that the fist thing that they always find unappealing are visible joints but I guess compared to cracking issues, we're better off with visible joints.

Fixed :goodpost: :lol

I don't care what non-collectors think. I collect for myself. I do think it's cool when someone walks in and actually not only takes the time to look at my modest collection but say how awesome it looks.

I know some people prefer rubber. You may be one of them and that's cool. Swap out the body if it bothers you so much. Others have swapped it to an even more exposed body to pull off the "boss" pose. Myself? I'm happy with the stock body. It's a nice blend of aesthetics, poseability, and durability. Until a better rubber alternative is made that doesn't tear or melt over time, I will be happy with bodies like this.
