After a 3 hour Futz Fest, including an arm swap, I got him semi decent. Still need to futz the buckles a bit. I'm tapping out with him until tomorrow. I've had it. Here's a few pics.

Yes it is. But it's sometimes more fun than aggravating. This happened to be the aggravating one.

I used the new TTM-21 arms. I had the figure laying around so I went with those. The shoulders are a little small so I only recommend it for the jacket look. I love the pose he's in.

Tom, word of advice.

Use blue painters tape to wrap Banes legs, waist & @$$ completely. This will protect the body from the dyed pants your getting from elvis.

Unless you don't care about it staining the legs. That's what I did with my alternate Bane I'm working on

and oh look, he's fine! a tiny bit of chipping on the front plate to make the adjustment, but it's covered by the strap.

and the spot on the head was some weird residue. i haven't quite got it all off, but it will come totally clean.

I think it would be hard to use non muscular arms for the coatless boss pose. It just doesn't look right unfortunately. That's my opinion, of course.

Agreed. I want him with the coat. I'm not well versed in TTs so all these numbers being thrown around are meaningless to me.

Skinny arms would work in Bane's body? They'll be hidden by the coat. I need that boss pose!

Well....got him opened and out....

...and WOW! The wait was worth it. No futzing or swapping or anything else here, just a quick shot....

...and I'm digging him just the way he is. Really cool figure....the head portrait is fantastic! As fine as many of the pictures I've enjoyed in here during the wait have been, well...it doesn't compare to how impressive it is right in front of you.

Can't wait for the weekend to get some shots with the DX12...

....and glad to hear Sideshow's taking care of you there, skooternb!

oh look: my very first hot toys tragedy (picture for demonstration only, no futzing was done to adjust the out of boxness):

he arrived in a perfect box ~ but! with a serious case of the crookeds on his vest. he's also got a weird spot on his head near the mask (glue? paint? something). it actually looks worse in the picture than it does in hand.

well, i always did back the three-legged horse at the races, so i guess that makes him mine.

and i love him!

I got the same white crap on my head. It rubs straight off though, but you might need to use a bit of force. Easy fix. What isn't such an easy fix is the broken pipe on my Bane's mask on the left side of the chin. Going to hit up Sideshow for a replacement head later tonight. Hate having to go through the returns process with Sideshow. Last time, it took around 10 days or more for them to just respond to my email.

This figure is on another level, so impressive to see a figure you can easily mistake for the real deal in photos. Your custom is coming out great and the detail on the boots is sick

But I think that there's a better chance for Monkeys to fly out of all our asses before HT throws us an upgrade because they feel "guilty"
