Out of the box the pants look atrocious. Yeah, just like skinny jeans. But after people futzed them a bit they look fine. Kind of unnecessary to spend more money on new ones. If I bought this thing I don't know if I could spend even more money on a body though.

To be 100% honest, after seeing body and arm swaps for the simple sake of his pose, I don't think it's worth the cash. The pose looks awkward to me...it's hard to capture the posture and intricacies of it with a doll body. I dunno, I just haven't felt any of the customs. The body they used proves that they're smarter than I am, because while it may not be as big as he was in the film, it's perfect for his clothing and once it's all on he has the appropriate bulk. And aside from not being able to achieve that pose, it can do a lot of cool ones.

The pants are fine after lowering them, but if the color bothers you much it's incredibly easy to darken them with water and paint.

BTW, didn't mention it earlier but sorry to hear about your job. I lost mine last year two days after my wife almost died and went into the hospital for two weeks, and we're just now getting back on our feet. It's rough, but if you can keep positive it will work wonders for you.

Ecko: those look really good man. If I liked real boots on my figures I'd do that myself.

Any help on where to find a 1/6 C4 detonator (sewer battle detonator)? I tried eBay, but no luck.

Ok Freaks finally finished my Custom Bane Boots , i did a collage because all the colors i did is hard to photograph . They are ***** accurate now , the lower toe area , boots straps , & upper area are the same colors . The area where the laces are and the heel area are different . Lots of pic i studied and used to make these as perfect as i could.

the darker areas doesn't photograph like i see it it person , they are darker in color

Thanks man , yeah everyone has a different taste , i personally prefer leather boots with laces on my figures . I wish hot toys did this more often with releases.

Yeah everything works itself out, I'm not making as much as I was, since doing pest control for NASA pays a hell of a lot more than residential, which is what I'm doing now, but I've got some irons in the fire that I hope will pan out. Just having to learn to budget the hard way. I'm fortunate to have a family that will help me if I need it and ask for it, but the asking is the tough part. Don't want to be like my siblings, who are leeches. :Lol

I've only ever tried real boots on my SS Joe figures, and wasn't fond of them. I'm more concerned with aesthetics than accuracy in the end.

Well, he actually uses the same detonator twice.

Once in the sewer, then in the stadium. It's hard to get a good pic, cause both times he uses are pretty darkly lit. But I'm assuming it's just an regular C4 detonator.
