How is Nolan's Bane a failed representation of the character? Is it because Bane doesn't look like he walked straight out of the comics?

ahahahaha...it's not really Hot Toys fault completely...Nolan's Bane is a failed representation of the character.

Failed? More like Nolans Bane is a genius in character development.

Because he isn't the badass, anti-Batman supergenius of the comic. He's an over-glorified

with a goofy voice. He's closer to the comic's spirit than the B&R version, no doubt, but ends up being little more than a thug who likes giving philosophical speeches.

Since people won't shut up about the movie, I'm out. And no, putting a spoiler tag around one or two words in your rant is not sufficient or considerate. Also, referring to a post in another thread, I didn't care to see someone speculating on other "important" characters HT should make figures of.

For the people who saw it and simply said the movie is great, nothing more, thank you for your self control.

To those who have seen it, I hope you use more discretion when posting for the sake of the other people here. This is not a rant and I'm not frothing at the mouth as many like to imagine when reading serious posts, just please take care with what you say at this time.
