:lol Nice idea

Oh hey remember when Chan said they were hard at work on the Doc? Whatever happened to that?

Civil war, bvs, tfa, rogue one, etc. Any licenses they hold unrelated to those franchises are slowed to a crawl, if they ever see the light of day at all. I'm amazed that they even bothered going back to alien. Still hoping doc one day gets the same treatment but I doubt it. I wish they would use toy fair exclusives as an opportunity to do characters like doc, marty part 2, kyle Reese, sarah connor, etc.

They are, but Sideshow carry them so there's still plenty of opportunity for collectors to get them. They're lower in quantity but they're also likely to be less popular items than a Mark 45 Iron Man suit.

Would Doc be classed as less popular? I guess less popular than iron man etc but I would say he would be popular enough to sell more figures than a TFE quantity. I could understand a part 2 marty being one if they used the same headsculpt as the marty we have but again, I think he would be more popular than the part 1 version as I get the impression more people prefer the part 2 variations. I think its a case of there being alot more profit to be had from the iron men, batman and marvel lines so everything else can wait. I do wonder if another company will step up to make an unofficial one? Like a Scientist Brown or something to that effect. There's clearly a market for a Doc

tbh, I wish HT would just get on with it. A reveal at this years SDCC would be nice but Im clearly dreaming there.

I've only bought 1 HT figure this year (ANH Luke). The smaller companies are getting all my business these days, DAM, VTS, Play Toy, Art Figures, Crozz Design, Toys Power and Craftone, as they are bringing out stuff from classic movies, not the "flavour of the month" stuff from the Disney / Marvel behemoth. They are concentrating on "niche" figures or companion figures, and this is no bad thing. I can see a lot of the current HT stuff being discounted, as collectors realize they have no need for 5 Black Widows or 20 Storm troopers. Sideshow made the same mistake with their endless Clone variants. If another company decides to bring out an unofficial "Mad Professor" or "Future Boy", i'm not going to hesitate in snapping them up.

Clever. :lol

Although with this Marty, all you need to do is pop his hand back in and he'll be good as new.

Really? The first (likely the only ) Doc we get is is Future Doc? :(

so finally a friend helped me out and we started using bad mother customs decals.

Small details, big difference. Pretty happy :clap

I am thinking of trying my hand at resculpting the hair on a spare sculpt i have. It always struck me that his hair was too high, showing too much forehead.
I have dremelled the hair off one of my spare heads and painted it with latex(Just to protect the head), and i will try a few different hairsculpts with plasticene to see if i can get a better look.
