I really haven't been following the saga of HT Drax, but I see that it's finally nearing... So i'm guessing this one will count for both movies since he looks exactly the same in both?

Probably use the same sculpt and body, but there has already been pics of the Vol.2 Drax. So there will be 2 separate releases.

I had no idea... I did see the preview page from the catalog, but It didn't occur to me that the pants were different... Damn. Choices.

Hope they reveal her and release him next week. I just ordered the first Rocket figure today and held off on Gamorra hoping we'll get a cooler one prototyped soon. If I play my cards right, I plan on getting Rocket and Drax this year and preordering the new Starlord and Gamora for next year. I like Groot but not enough to buy the figure. At least I'll have a mini baby groot with starlord.

You're missing out. Groot is the best in the series by far, and one of the best releases that year...2015?

Well, this settles it... I'm going to wait for the GOTG2 version because that gun is so much better than the bazooka. The only thing I'll miss is the red pants, which I can probably get 2nd hand. I hope they don't pull a fast one and cancel the vol.2 version.
