The face doesn't change the fact that it is a prostitute in an Alien costume. With BW's face, it is just BW as a prostitute in an alien costume. You could off course tell yourself (and friends) that BW is undercover, but all you really see and all your friends see is BW as a prostitute in an alien costume. And there's nothing wrong with that, if that is your hearts desire.

The Last "Hot Angel" was She-Predator Machiko from the AVP line. Which was essentially the Alexa Woods character from the AVP movie "merged" with the Machiko Noguichi character from the excellent Dark Horse comics Aliens vs. Predator series. In the comic series, Machiko is accepted into the Predator hunting clans because she helps the lead Predator hunter defeat the Aliens and that Predator "marks" her with his clan symbol before dying. They essentially took the comic character's storyline and merged it with the movie character's (like when Scar marks Lex at the end) to give some backstory to the figure.

Machiko was the first in a "new line" which Hot Toys had done nothing with because they were too busy with endless Batman, Joker and Iron Man figures. But it looks like they're bringing it back and since they did a Predator "Hot Angel", I suppose it's fair to start with an Alien Xeno-girl.

I wonder if they'll do another Predator girl, seeing as it has been years since Machiko was released.

Wow somoene else who read those comics! Cool! I wish they stuck to the Dark Horse comics for the AvP movie, even if that meant they only did one (AvP requiem was utter rubbish imho)

Concerning the Alien Girl, it's been pushed back to Sept-Nov in case anyone's keeping up! I pre-ordered her figured she'd make a good counter to my Machiko

In case anyone is curious, Alien Girl actually showed up today after well over a year and a half on preorder... I know she's not the most popular of figures, but taken as is she's beautifully detailed and overall really well executed. The biggest drawback is her relative lack of posability, mostly due to the restrictive xenomorph exoskeleton. However, the translucent skull alone is worth the price of admission - it's freaking wonderful. Anyway, here are some hero shots of her...

The piece is all hard plastic, which does limit the articulation...
