the hammer defo looks different, and from the teaser this looks a hell of a lot better than v1 thor already, im hoping they nail the headsculpt and i want rooted hair not doll hair. and a sleeveless option would be cool but in the big battle at the end i would assume he has his full armour on so im cool

I have almost purched Thor 1.0 about a dozen times since it was released, but each time I check the photos in the dedicated threads, and each time the the poor proportions, and especially the helmet (which is why I would want the figure) have turned me away.

Let's hope they get this one right, because I'm already committed to the rest of the line.

Wonder if HT will include 2nd costume w/o cape version as I guess most of you wish for.

Besides the lack of cape that's clearly a different tunic - no belt, upper "disks" are different, but it does look like bits of the cape cloth are sitting on the shoulders. The gauntlets are different too. Either we get two outfits, or there's a third Thor in the offing.

I would expect we'll get the helmet again. I'd like it if they used metal this time but if we don't no big deal. Someone was talking about a second costume without the cape. Well, I'd say it will just click into the outfit like the first figure and you can go capeless if you want.

Yeah, I know. But as much as I'd like a helmet, a good figure without a helmet beats a weak figure with a bad helmet.

Besides, you might mod the helmet to fit. If you're brave, you could mod the hair.

Next Friday I think. Would be cooling seeing the film later on in the day after seeing the reveal.

I also thought this might be a possibility, does Thor where his helmet at all in the Avengers? Even for a second? If so I still would like to see a helmet option for this figure.

After I saw the teaser I went like Jim (Firebird): "Meh", cause I really hoped for a sleeveless release.

And, of course I hope for better sculpted hair too (cause on the first it looked...like a misbegotten, got rained on all day, really wet dog) and it needs to be sculpted hair "fuller" or getting a "real hair" treatment.

But if that would look good, I'm not sure either.

I guess wait for the reveal is all I can do, cause otherwise it's just senseless bickering...

We got a clean, undamaged bio for classic pred and that did not feature in the Predators movie( I'm sure there are other examples too) so I'd imagine they could include one if they wanted to.

I like the first sculpt but I would change it out if they went barbie hair. Thankfully they didn't go with the Triple H look.
