I wonder if HT should do a Toystory Buzz

After all these years and the helmet still can’t do that woosh thing.

Mixed feelings on this one. I’m still really disappointed they didn’t have Tim Allen come back for the film. I think to many of us he is our one and only Buzz. But having a figure that is probably better than Andy ever had is also super appealing. I think we’re going to be in for some serious sticker shock on this one.

Also I think it is kind of funny that the Toy Buzz has a different voice, much like how real life toys are made. Some people will say it is over Allen's political alignment but that is far from true. Disney is currently working on a Santa Clause TV series for Disney Plus.

What's the point? There are toys out there that look exactly like him in the movie. It looks like a toy in the Toy Story movies.

Maybe there was a live action movie that the kids TV show was based on and then they did a remake of the TV show into a modern day live action movie...and Andy watches the live action sequel to that movie?

I remember Mark Hamill joked about that. “They never invited me back to voice Luke Skywalker for any video game, toys, or cartoons! They used a soundalike!”

It was one reason he insisted on doing as much voice work for The Joker any time they needed it.

Toys in the 1990s often just had randos filling in, and the sound quality was garbage.

Like the HT ED-209 who's soundbites aren't taken directly from the Robocop movie but rerecorded, giving him a slightly different voice and intonation.

I must say I really like the look of this figure. I'm interested in seeing how much this will cost. Might be another addition to my collection.

Personally I can't understand ppl complaining, this Buzz is a totally different person and returning Tim Allen wouldn't make any sense.I'm very pleased it's Chris Evans as I love him. There are so many Toy Story Buzz toys, you can get him in any scale and quality... I have the one made by Disneystore and he's 100% accurate so whoever wants it get it. I'm very happy with this one, getting it no matter what.

I just wasn’t quite sure about it. There are a lot of people who are upset about it not being the “real” Buzz Lightyear.

I thought it was a very good offshoot movie though. It’s not a movie about the toy Buzz Lightyear but the fictional movie in the Toy Story universe that the toy was inspired from.
