I wonder if there are any changes to her suit for AEG , but we know HT will probably make a AEG Marvel version just to make money off of us

There are two changes that I'm currently aware of.

1) Her hair looks different. 2) Her suit looks slightly different per the mid credits scene on Captain Marvel. The shoulder pads are gold colored.

Makes sense, after all CM was set in the 90s and now we are in the present with EG

I can’t see why they wouldn’t make a Kree suit version

The Kree version seems almost like a given for a 2019 Toy Fair Exclusive if you ask me. Too easy to not do and that would be a good opportunity to put it out.

I wonder if we won’t get an Endgame version of her, much like we didn’t get Infinity War versions of some characters that had recently released figures or ones up for pre-order (Black Panther and Star-Lord come to mind).

Well looks like the material is following the footsteps of the IW Iron Spider HT . Which means, probably limited leg articulation and creasing issues again

Hopefully they will adjust the material to be more suited for posing in the production piece

Probably, but at least this time the creases would make sense since she's supposed to be wearing a leather outfit, and we do see those creases in the movie. So I'm not going to be bothered by it.

Finally saw the movie a second time... and still just thought it was okay. I was hoping I'd enjoy it a lot more but the story still fell a bit flat for me, and just didn't have that energy that I'm used to with these Marvel movies. Although judging by the chaotic and poorly shot action scenes, I think a lot of that might be due to the directing.

I still really want the figure though.

Those directors won't be back. Guarantee it.

Considering the Kree suit was at least half of the film , I’d think if HT makes a Kree version, it should be a general release instead of a exclusive

I think it will depend on how different she'll look in Endgame and Hot Toys' production schedule. Black Panther and Star-Lord look almost the same (if not exactly the same) in Infinity War as in their previous movies.

But think about Doctor Strange. Although he had the same outfit in Infinity War, he had different magical effects so Hot Toys grabbed the opportunity to re-release him.

I really don't think there was any significant difference between BP solo vs IW BP so it wouldn't make sense to make a IW version. They should definitely focus on another character

My theory is HT did a 2.0 of Dr. Strange because it was originally slated for a Thor Ragnarok release, most likely as a Con special, but they decided to hold off and release it ala the IW line sine he had more screen time.

While that’s true clearly her non-Kree look is what the character is being sold on more. I just see the Kree look as an exclusive because it’s essentially just a re-use of the figure that’s upcoming. It seems like in a case like this if we get both one is likely to be an exclusive given how similar the two are other than colors.

Yes. Monica Rambeau was the first female and the second person to rock the monicker of “Captain Marvel” in 1982. Carol Danvers wasn’t called Captain Marvel until 2012 and was the 8th person to have that name. Up until that point she went by several names beginning with Ms Marvel in 1977.

Deadpool sells though. Captain Marvel is unproven.

I'm of exactly the same opinion. Just not sure yet. Think i'll also wait on Endgame and see her involvement.

Please let Endgame be awesome ! Gotta turn my expectations down a few notches for better film viewing !

That's a testament of the Russo bros! They made me like CM more in the 5 second trailer clip between her and Thor than her entire appearance in her OWN movie!

Not a gripe, just an observation. If they do an Endgame version with rooted hair (due to it being longer), you could pick up that head and fashion it yourself. Of course if a rooted hair version is released, we'll have to endure the vitriolic griping of a certain forum member. [emoji38]

Haha perhaps perhaps! I think sculpted was the way to go with this. So far HTs only rooted winner has really been the CW Black Widow, and I think that has more to do with the style and waves in it. Straight hair is just so much harder to do. Though styling the bun would probably work pretty well all things considered.
