This is how I feel exactly. I just can't see myself styling rooted hair, I would literally feel like I have high priced barbie dolls on my shelf.

Rooted hair is a pain but I have no problem with the 'doll' thing. I spent a good long time futzing with Chewie's hair back when, and subsequently sat down and styled my CW Black Widow's hair based on movie stills and promo photos. Like a boss.

Real men buy dolls.

"Action figure" is just a term that was coined by Hasbro to sell dolls (GI Joe at the time) to a boy's market. By definition, they are no different, just monikers for the same plaything. Sorry to break anyone's interpretation of their hobby.

Love the sculpted hair. Always hated rooted hair. That's why Black Widow always looked crap.

Not the best likeness we've ever seen from Hot Toys and certainly not the worst (I do see a little of Brie Larson in there, although shouldn't the hair be a little more on the blonde side?). I quite like the helmet and if I do pick this up, that's probably how I'll display her. Jacket and the cat are nice extras for the deluxe.

I dunno...man, I feel like Hot Toys is on a roll with the misses lately...not feeling that head sculpt, something off with the likeness.

The figure itself along with the masked sculpt which looks awesome the Brie Larson headsculpt looks nothing like her. I don’t see any likeness. Looks very cool tho. Might pick up if the movie is good

Interested to see how they did the LEDs for her, it looks good so far. The suit especially, looks well made for extreme posing.

I will probably buy this to complete my set of "Title lead characters" in the MCU, but after that I think my collection is pretty complete (except for Endgame Thor to complete the set, and possibly Endgame Iron Man so I have one IM figure from each Avenger movie... and any Loki releases they may do)

I also thought the sculpt was a little "off" as people always say. However at this angle I think it looks better.

Otherwise it's great. I was a bit nervous seeing the Deluxe and Standard. But Standard comes with everything I need. As much as I like the cat and leather jacket don't think I need those.

I'll probably order anyway because of how cool the suit looks, but I'm REALLY hoping they improve the sculpt before release.

Given Hot Toys' recent track record, I doubt we'll see any improvement...if anything, it may end up being worse and what little likeness there is could very well be gone by the time we get to final product (look what they did to the Chadwick Boseman BP 2.0 sculpt)

I certainly won't be ordering this (or anything else) until I've seen in-hand pics and videos.

Actually it's weird, my initial reaction was that the sculpt looked strange and nothing like her... but the more I stare at it, the more I start to see her...

Not sure if it's just all in my head or what.
