I personally wouldn't care for a limbless Freddy Krueger Vader floating in his own juices wearing a giant pair of depends :lol

If someone could explain the appeal of that to me, please do. Other than it being "different," I don't see what is so cool about it, but that's just me.

Don’t get me wrong, the sequence of him getting “suited up” was awesome, but unless the display does all that, it’s just not for me

Just cool, that's all.

Could do swap out misty and drained effects and include switch out limbs etc. Flank it with 2 guards & nice lights and it'd make a nice display.

The best sort of Vader gimmick that could be done from this show has already been done by the Sideshow Mythos coming out next year. I would think today's episode will make that statue more popular moving forward.

It's a representation of "the man behind the mask" which is a burnt, limbless shell of the greatest Jedi that ever lived in his most raw and vulnerable state.

It would be an excellent center piece and create a great balance between Dark Side Anakin and Darth Vader.

I agree. That mythos statue is amazing. Can’t say the same about their CW Obi wan and Anakin unfortunately

I always liked the D.Woon Customs cracked sculpt but it costs the price of a figure so couldn't justify it :lol

Idk, I still don’t see it. The whole “man behind the mask” I feel is easily represented with a helmetless Anakin headsculpt (old or young) without needing a whole diorama.

Like I said, I think the whole sequence is really cool and yes, I think cinematically, seeing him in the tank is mysterious and cool b/c we rarely see him like that. BUT, I don’t feel that equally translates to a cool collectible and/or display unless you are able to have the real proper display space to make it look as cool as it does in live action. I personally don’t think having burnt Vader in the bacta tank on a standard detolf shelf is going to look all that cool. You gotta have the lighting and backdrop to really capture it imo.

Also, I’m not criticizing anyone who wants that look. It’s just not for me as I don’t see the appeal of it.

This is an amazingly well done custom and would be great for a Rebels Vader. I'd be curious if something similar happens in Obi Wan but I don't necessarily think it needs to other than to have a battle damaged Vader.

Who thinks the glimpse of Anakin will generate a reissue……had about same amount of time as K2 Droid in BoBF

Possible with HT. But considering their current nerfed production power it's certainly not a given. They aren't even close to keeping up with the pace of their media content licenses.

People want Sleepytime Vader in Bacta Tank? Really? I see that piece lost behind a slew of poseable villains and troopers over time.

If that RO reissue drops, don't buy it. Wait for true Obi-Wan Vader -- wait for episode 6 Vader.
100%, i reckon Hot Toys always drops the main figure of a film or a show after it’s all finally aired so best to just be patient and wait till the last episode. My guess is 1/4 Vader though instead of a 1/6 but who knows, maybe we’ll even get a 1/4 Kenobi
