I know, right? Where are the female legs there? :lol

Lol, you can even see the piping above the boots.

Maybe it's the lighter colors and pinkish hue of the red throwing some people off? It looks like it's just the hologram throwing the colors off. I'm sure that's actually Superman.

It is. I had to pause it several times, and I can see how maybe On first viewing, People can mistake that for legs cause of the hue.
But with the screenshot, it's no question it's superman.

Yeah, it's like in Star Wars the holograms are blue-ish white. While here they went with a lighter pinkish look to it. It's probably Bruce studying Kryptonian cells or something, so he's using a holo of Superman.

Guys, there is nobody else casted in this movie. Whole league was at SDCC. It's Superman. He is alive, it's him. You are still overthinking it.

I'm agreeing with you there. But surely the colors of the hologram could be throwing people off. It's not the darker blue and red that we're used to seeing with Superman.

I guess I could see how the hue might throw people off, but for myself at least, I didn't have to do any double takes. Even the first time viewing the trailer and seeing that roughly 2 second scene in regular time, it was clearly Superman's legs to me. Like Remy said, you can even see the piping on the suit above the boots.

I know it's just the angle distorting things but Flash looks tiny there and Aquaman almost as big as the 1/4 scale Bale. :lol

Not sure what you mean here?

I'm curious if when Superman returns he'll be a bit more upbeat how people wanted to see. Thus a brighter, more traditional color scheme.

Yeah I bet it makes him happy, I bet Batman use the mother box to heal him but makes a cyborg Superman instead

Which part do you not understand?

His darker clothing in BvS represented a darker image of Superman as reflected on by the people that see him as a threat.
That was the whole premise of BvS.

At the end of BvS, people are mourning Superman's death and essentially wishes he was back.

His costume in JL reflects that shift in attitude thus the lighter shade.

Seems you misunderstood me then I guess. I was referencing Superman's attitude rather than people's attitude towards him. He was typically very full of self doubt. I'm curious if his attitude when returning will be that he is doing the right thing regardless of what people believe.

I wonder if they embellished the brighter blue of Superman's outfit on this figure just a bit and made it a bit brighter than what it will actually look in the film? In concept photos and on set photos, it looks to be about on par with the BvS suit in color; perhaps slightly lighter, but seemingly not by much.

However, if it is discernibly lighter in the film, I'd say it's definitely intentional and intended to mark a shift in tone of the character. I also think the suit was dark in BvS because the film in general also had a darker tone, so the hue of the suit reflected both the tone of the character and film.

Just found this from Budget Stark.

They look much better without the reflection of the glass in front of them.

I want a Power Girl first. Dayum!!!

I think it would be quite some time before Power Girl would show up in the DCEU given how complicated it would be to explain. The more likely scenario would be an appearance on the Supergirl TV show, maybe as an alternate universe version of Kara. That series needs to expand its mythos and continue universe building. There's a rich gallery characters and stories they could tap as long as they don't screw them up. I've been hoping they would connect to the Legion of Superheroes after teasing the flight ring and later adding Mon-El. Maybe that will still happen. It would also be interesting to see CW start to swing that series away from some of the overly light hearted tone and make it just a bit more serious. It lines up pretty well with Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, although not as much so with Arrow, which is getting a little long in the tooth anyway.

That said, DC seems to be doing a better job than Marvel of building out their connected TV universe, although I don't know why they didn't use Flashpoint to pull Supergirl into that shared universe. I'm assuming Teen Titans will part of it, which depending on the line-up, opens the door to a TV Batman, Aquaman, Wonder Woman, etc. even if only in guest shots like TV Superman. There's no reason CW shouldn't be able to ride that pony for another 5-10 years.

Back to DCEU, still looking forward to seeing the Lantern Corps and cinematic versions of Hawkman and Hawkgirl, Martian Manhunter, etc. to hopefully show up for JL2.
