Either way as has been pointed out the same media has dragged all the films through the mud at some point. These are the same people that have a new article every 15 mins about how Ben Affleck is leaving. So I could really give a crap less about the peanut gallery's input.

Also the same people who claimed that GoTG2 was the greatest sequel of all time, Homecoming was the best Spiderman we've ever seen (true Spidey fans will tell you how wrong that is) and spew Marvel catchwords as directed... I was sick of seeing review after review spouting "John Hughes"!

I don't think JL will end up being any sort of critics darling like WW was, however, I do think it will fair better than BvS, if only for the simple fact that characters like Aquaman and Flash will help the tone feel a little less "serious", at least between characters. Plus Joss mixing it up a bit may simmer down Snyders obsession with everything being so dark and depressing.

Just have to wait and see I guess. I don't believe the endless media reports about the film, the only reason those happen is because the DCU has been so rocky that the DCU has become fair game with news reports. But I'm not going to "listen to the actors" involved either, they're getting paid by Warner, they're in the movie, they're hardly going to talk **** about it to the public.

Good movie - whooo, good job Whedon. Bad movie - booo, it's Snyder's fault.

Forget Supergirl, I want her to play powergirl images.jpg

I also think it'll be the first DCEU movie to break $1 billion.

WW+Joss+Critics knowing mr Snyder isn't fully involved and Ben just gave an interview saying this will be a more traditional batman than we got in bvs = at least a billion lol

That's what I'm expecting to. They are exaggerating the extent of the re-shoots ready to give Whedon full credit if things turn out well while giving themselves enough wriggle room to blame it all on Snyder should things go wrong.

I've read articles stating that the movie has now been "saved" because of Joss Whedon's "extensive reshoots". Which I find funny, because I'm certain that none of those people have actually seen the movie.

Like I mentioned earlier, despite the actors at SDCC stating there haven't been many extensive reshoots.

Me also. I think the fans of this DC universe know how much of it is Snyder's and that for any criticisms there are, Snyder has put a lot more positive in this universe. He has given superb casting, a great alternative to the Marvel films, great thematic story telling, interesting characters as we've not seen on screen before that aren't trying to vibe off the old (very often rose-tinted glasses looked-through) films, and some of the most impressive and beautiful shots in cinema. Not to mention, can you imagine anyone else as Wonder Woman I think that film would have sank without Gal, the earnest qualities she bought to that role that made the script and her character believable, that's all thanks to Snyder.

Unfortunately the internet has a dumbfounding disliking towards him, but hey... that's what you get when you try to stray from the norm and popular methods of what works.
