The studio might have demanded that as well. The Batmobile was destroyed in Returns and Forever. It gives them the perfect excuse to sell more toys. We will definitely be seeing a new Batmobile and Batcave/Wayne Manor in the 3rd film. Get ready for a whole new onslaught of collectibles. Start saving NOW!

:lol right. WB is letting Nolan do what he wants.

You wanna see a movie that is nothing but advertising for multiple toys and collectibles, see Iron Man 2. Talk about a commercialized movie.

wow, i just tried to locate a Tumbler for sale online. EVERY ONE IS SOLD OUT!

1 left.

It's a few months or so short of a year since it was released.

$875 on eBay!

In one those behind the scenes interview with Nolan, I think he said actually wanted to Blow up the Tumbler in the first movie.

I'm glad he didn't go through with it. To get the Tumbler and lose it in the same movie would've been too brief. It's more monumental when you lose it in the sequel, since it's become an established part of your world by then.

Just wait for DK3. You ain't seen nothing yet. :lol

How cool is that, I only have to pay $307.23 just for shipping :D
Damn it, if I would live in the USA or Hong Kong, I would definatly would purchase this beast. But as a European, it really really really hurts the wallet too much.

LOL cheap shipping ! It's too bad though because the price is way better than I've seen it elsewhere.

for $600 net, is this a good price right now? i mean, i know prices are still subjective, on how a collector sees this piece, but for you guys', is this a good enough price? oh, and $320 for a Bat-pod. thanks!

As a collector, I was extremely ecstatic--hayop sa coolness--when I first had the 1/6 Tumbler & Batpod in hand. Months have passed & both have been collecting dust on top of my Detolfs since I don't have anymore space to display them (can't afford the acrylic cases). GT, you really need a dedicated space in order to display these. G'luck with your decision.

Yeah me too. It's still in the box coz i don't have a proper display case for it. I saw one that's really cool but it costs around 800 dollars - glass case with 1 meter wooden base.

Tell me about it!!! I spent half a day trying everything i could to find someone who had one and nadda! And now the aussie dollar has a taken a dive its even worse! Damn it! Still though if anyone has any connections stores or help i would really appreciate it especialy in oz.

does anyone know hwo to remove the battery compartment on the batpod? i am trying to hard-wire it but not sure how to do it from the battery terminals.

Have a quesiton for everyone- how safe would it be to get one of the Tumblers shipped from Hong Kong? The reason I ask is that ordered a sealed and mint one in May from BBTS and it turned out to be defective (missing one of the windshields and damage in the cockpit). BBTS did not have a replacement, so I ended up with a refund.

I've had no luck finding a tumbler in the US ( live in NYC) so it looks like I will have pay over $700 plus at least another $150 to ship it to the US from Asia. As much as I want a Tumbler, this just seems like way too much money. Plus if it's damaged or defective, then there is the whole hassle of shipping it back.

Any suggestions for finding one in North America- I would pay a reasonable price for one (up to $600)

I thought someone said that Toys2.net still had some at "regular" price and I trust Eric to provide great service and can verify the product prior to shipping
