(bad) reply BBTS!

Hi,

We are having to pay very high shipping fees to get these in from Asia and the discounts for MSRP are very low. I apologize for the price but it won't be adjusted again most likely. It was lowered $90 over the weekend.

Thanks!

even afther I have shared them the links of toys2.net
pitty toys2 has such high shipping costs :(

seems like there is always at least 1 thing bad:
Toys2 has to high shipping costs
BBTS has to high prices for the items itself
Ebay sellers has good prices + shipping, but you got that pre order where you have to pay full up front

who is perfect?

Joe will probably be our best bet. No paying up front and no cancellation fee*

*Based on the rest of his TDK pre-orders for up.

That is high. :rotfl If I were you I'd go with ABC and pay with a CC, one which will protect your purchase transaction until you receive the item.

Also, Joe may come through for you.

Just wait when BBTS has a bunch of tumblers sitting around the price will come down.

Maybe, but for an item like this I wouldn't necessarily expect them to order a lot of extra stock besides the preorders.

Exactly, they just won't have that many orders placed. If there is a second wave of these listed on ebay I would expect higher prices as it nears release.

Exactly, I would guarantee thats what their strategy is, why commit to ordering a 100 when you have 15 preordered? I also think thats what a preorder is anyway, a fair way for a seller to not overbuy.

A little late to this party (but that's due to summer visiting/travelling) to go along with my already pre-ordered TDK Joker from Hot Toys I bit the bullet and nabbed the tumbler and the Original Batman...:D

Very happy... Now, who wants to buy some blood?... A liver?...

I want this Tumbler too.. but is it worth even 400? I don't know.

toys2 would be the right place for me to go since they are within the country.

hey Riko,

have you tried ordering directly from Hot Toys? they may be cheaper.

no, because I didn't think hot toys deals directly with customers, only with sellers?

if you can do this, why does everybody deal with sellers?

Like SideShow, it's because of discounted costs and cheaper shipping rates.

Good question though, does Hot Toys sell their figures directly from their site? They must. I haven't been on that site in ages.

like I said, I have no visa card, pay pal is the only way for me to pay internationally....so I guess I will have to settle with the asian ebay sellers and pay up front

That is just beautiful. Question for those who are picking the Batmobile up - how will you display it? With Bats in it or out of it.

I really don't know where I'm going to put it, so that's hard to answer. But I do think it's likely that space issues might make it necessary to have Batman either sitting in it or getting out of it or something, rather than standing next to it.

Display it? I'm gonna slip Batman inside, take it to the Hollywood hills at night when the streets are deserted and let that sucker roll all the way down to Hollywood and put the thing on YouTube P!tu style! No, not really. The road would tear the tires to hell.

I think it needs a Batman inside.
