I wish they'd just kept the BB suit and incorporated the TDK's ability to turn his head.

It wasn't just the neck mobility that was an issue with the BB suit, the whole thing the way it was made was restricting. As unsightly as some elements in the design of the TDK suit are, there are some elements you can really see are made to enhance stretchability and flexing, like the legs and arms.

I also believe one of those rows is "shootable" as seen in one of the TV spots. Bruce is with Lucius and pushes something and it launches a row of what look like the blades on the gauntlets. So that would explain the two rows if true. One stays there, but one could be used as a shooting weapon.

Yeah, it was in one of them. Bruce is fiddling around with gauntlets and the "blades" gets embedded in a wall.

Bruce has that non-chalant look while Lucius says to him with a teasing smile "Perhaps it would be wise to read the instructions first?".

That scene actually reminded me of James Bond and Q, whenever Bond gets his new gadgets and toys

Also the bicep armor is close to what the ninjas had on at the end of BB.

Actually, the Begins gauntlets are the ninja gauntlets, he takes them back with him when he returns to Gotham and spary paints them to blend with the whole suit.

Yeah, I'm aware of that. But I'm just saying that the new suit isn't quite as much of a departure as some people (including myself) thought it was. Now that I can see some of the armored elements in it, I like it better than I did.

Gotcha. I've always felt most of the suit design from the waist up was fine, the biggest area of issue for me, and still is, are the legs, but the HT figure doesn't look exactly like the movie in the contrast and such seen in some pictures and that makes them look much better. As long as the lighting of scenes with this suit minimize the contrast of elements in the suit, I think it'll look fine on screen, but if those legs show like that image a few posts back, that's going to be ooogly.

Well I just ordered the Batman Begins Costumed figure for the Tumbler and I guess I need to order the Dark Knight Batman and the Batpod from somewhere. Does Toys2 take any kind of deposit or is it purely a preorder and not charged until it ships?

Toys2.net charges up front only if you use Debit or Paypal, otherwise selecting M.O. or credit card allow you to pay once shipped.

I would buy from the ebay sellers, but they ask that we pay full at front....
I do not feel comfortable with that, but they have good prices though.

BBTS, you can preorder without paying up front, but they are way to expensive

and toys2 have large shipping to beligium, 500 dollars...

ordered a bat pod off abc express today.. ive got over $1000 worth of preorders from them from the HT dark knight line alone. now to find a way to save up enough for the tumbler.
