Hot Toys 1/6 Tumbler/Batpod Batman

Okay, some are asking how big this SHOULD be. DarklordDave has weighed in on this, and he is usually right on the money.

I googled the specs and found this. Don't know how accurate it is, but gives you guys a pretty good idea...

Spec

9 feet 4 inches wide
15 feet long

15 ft converted to 1/6 Scale = 2.5 ft or 30 Inches. That ain't small. I don't know if HT will make one that big, we'll see.

If those specs are right, then the 1:18 Hot Wheels toy is undersized. With these measurements it's 30 inches by 18 inches rather than 27 by 15.

Pardon me if this has been discussed already, but any chance the Tumbler will come with a figure, like the Power Loader? Does the ad give any clues?

It's a new release so I tend to doubt it because HT is releasing the BB Fig just before it. But I know what you're getting at, Ripley and the Power Loader. Those were released at least a year apart.

Who knows? But I do believe HT wouldn't make a Tumbler unless the Figure could be seated inside. Some were discussing that earlier. No way would HT do that, it's like making a Power loader that wouldn't fit Ripley. Makes no sense to me.

I really don't see them offering up a figure with the Tumbler to keep the pricing down. They are wanting to appeal to those who are getting this one and have the v1. Although the Batpod seems almost to need a figure with it.....odds are better there and one has to wonder if maybe the TDK version of Batman wouldn't be offered alongside the Batpod and not a standard release....

Gees ...So if HT pick up licence to produce T2 line I wont be suprised T-800 comes with Harley Fatboy or T-1000 in a 1/6th scale helicopter! Not to mention John in a dirt bike! ARGHHHHHHhhhhhhhhhh

Remember they originally were going to offer the Powerloader without Ripley. And the Tumbler can stand on it's own much more easily than the Powerloader. So I'm pretty sure no Batman with the Tumbler.

Holy shnikes, that's incredible! I hate Hot Toys now, I'll never be able to afford this. I haven't had enough time to read the thread, are we sure these are 1:6 scale and not snap kit scale?
Glad I never bought the RC Tumbler now.

Plus the Batman figure would cost more to make and less easy to provide than an additional Ripley would've been.

kinda gives a rough estimate.

Those are the exact measurements I got scaling up the 1:18. So we can safely assume it will be 27-30 inches long by 15 - 18 inches wide.

i have the R/C tumbler and i'll measure it for you to be sure 15 inches wide and about 26 inches long and about 10 inches high so he is telling you the truth

Ok so I just saw the news on the HT Tumbler and am just about out the door for a movie. Dunno if this has been answered but no time to read through all the pages......so how much? and when will this black beauty be released?? I MUST HAVE THIS and already canceled some stuff.

We don't know yet Dannie. We're expecting an announcement in June.
