3A. They announced the 2000AD licence in like 2009 and still no Dredd? Piss off.
Dude that's a nobody if I've ever seen one, unless you are an extreme nerd like us you don't care or even know about the likes of Eomar and the new Bones McCoy...
I just got back from seeing it. This will be a cult classic I'm sure of it. This film was absolutely amazing. Everyone I saw it with agreed. No one thought it would be this incredible. It's the best movie I saw this summer and we all want to see it again. The special effects and pacing were so masterfully done and some of the humor was terrific. Also the 3D was done surprisingly well. Usually movies really try to use it as a gimmick, but here it felt very natural.
The lack of a 1/6 figure is the shame of our lives. The one license Hot Toys assumes was going to be bad turns out far superior to all the others they grabbed.
And hell no a 3A Dredd is nothing. Bad sculpted hands with no accessories and such.
Word? Did you see the Avengers,ASM,or DKR?,just curious. Am looking forward to checking this out soon. Good to see positive reviews.

I saw Avengers and Dark Knight Rises. Avengers is your typical big mainstream summer action film. A lot of fun to watch and then you move on. I thought Dark Knight Rises was the weakest of the trilogy and significantly worse than the other two, but it seems like most disagree. Dredd 3D though is my pick of the summer. Really enjoyed it. There are some scenes that just leave you with your jaw on the ground (incendiary shot as an example). It struck me as highly original with how it was done too. Very memorable film. Somewhat like a cross between a serious Robocop (one of my all time favorite films) and Escape from New York (another personal favorite).
I'm not sure what ASM is supposed to be though?
If all else fails this might be something we could all try to get commissioned. Since they would only need to get good likeness for the bottom half of the face I could imagine getting a very good high end custom of him for a relatively fair price.
1. Avengers
2. The Dark Knight Rises
3. Dredd
4. Amazing Spiderman
for comic book movies this Summer!
