That's wicked. Man, you guys with your new cameras and tripods... its like stills from a new movie.
Well half the credit goes to Hot Toys, aside from the few incidents we've seen with this figure, all in all they really knocked one out the park with this figure, definitely everything and more than what I hoped it'd be when it was debuted months ago.
Yep -- they really came thru; and their love for Aliens is evident.
This figure is going to be long sought, long after it's gone!

Here's a couple test shots of the Bug v Marines; still need to think through what I want to do, how to pose, etc. Obviously the poor guy is facing too much firepower here, but I'm thinking a few marines, or some one on one action.

Love the last shot there!
Something about the distance on the marines makes the alien look smaller than he is.
How about a shot from behind the marines?

Awesome set-up Paul...I can't wait to get my Aliens warrior to do the same. I should have it in a week or two.
I was thinking of splitting up my figs to have Drake and Vasquez vs. the Alien on one shelf and Apone, Hicks and Hudson above on another shelf with the motion trackers going...on some sort of bug hunt!
Of course, I might have to rethink that set-up when we get the brown Alien...

I like that idea too Indy, but living in L.A. means no shelves for me, just had a rattler (seismic event) animate my furniture a few days ago, Darklord Dave had a whole bunch of stuff fall off his shelves and bust up, but, I do like that idea.

Did you add the tattoo on? Nice pics.
Ya, it's a fully customized Hicks. I got the Hot Toys stoner head, painted that myself and used the same skin tone on his arms and then added the tattoo, painted weathering onto his armor, weathered his clothes and walla, my own take on the Hicks figure.
