Passed on the 89 Keaton as I do not want multiple Batman's in my collection (only one is fine). I was hoping that when Returns was released it would have a Keaton head sculpt.
I do have a opportunity to buy 89 right now but am holding off. I hope I don't make the wrong call......
I would step on it if I were you, the cheapest on Ebay I have seen is 300

The Bat wasn't cancelled, as much as it got downsized. It will be 1/12 instead of 1/6. At least that's what i remember reading.

I think the logic of that very fact finally sank home, it would 3-4 times bigger than the Tumbler and the Tumbler is huge!

Imagine this beast at 1/6.....
Like someone said a page or so back, I could see this being a lot easier to make 1/6 scale than the Bat. The Batwing is actually very streamlined. Make the wings removable and it probably ships in a box no bigger than the Tumbler. Def not bigger than the 89 Batmobile. Either way, I want the Batwing
The batwing would be a crown jewel of a 1:6 vehicle.
It neednt be difficult to make or ship as was stated in the last page. A main body, two vinyl clip in wings and two two vinyl clip in tail fins.
As for a Returns alternative head, I'd love to see a Keaton sculpt, but in the ripped of mask. That would make for a terrific looking figure.

When this line is eventually announced if there's an alternate headsculpt with the torn off cowl from that scene I'll be all over it. I don't really care about anything else from Returns though.

Pinguin is the only thing I'm interested in from this licence and would not buy B&C w/o a good looking figure of him.

Valid question but it has been over a year and we have not seen anything of what was originally announced.
I personally feel like "***** Slapping" HT's for putting Returns in our head for over a year with zero updates. I admit there is anger.........
