Fishburne's character does look cool, I wouldn't mind something like that. As for anything else, I want to see the movie and make sure the Preds haven't been bastardised before I drop $200 on any of them.

i meant making most of the characters/(?costumes)[JC, batman & iron man]
from the movie. this movie has enough to satisfy both predheads and military collectors if done right, IMO.

^same can be said about the AVP preds...but they're still sought after up to now, even if the movie tanked or displeased a lot of fans. :]

I just think going back to a bland looking predator design really blows.The first AVP movie, only Scar was kind of cool at the end of the movie and thats about it, we need to see more vibrant colour on the bodies and better bio helmet designs.
Didn't the article posted earlier mention a cameo appearance of the original Predator in the new movie? Thought I read that somewhere.
I'm as skeptical about the movie as anyone, probably even more so, but unless the HT figures really blow chunks, which they probably will not, then I'm interested even if the movie fails to impress. AvP Requiem was a disappointment in so many ways, but the Wolf figures HT produced were considerably more satisfying.

First of all, you haven't even seen the movie yet. So you can't judge it. Second, the predators in AVP looked like they needed to go to Jenny Craig or something. Third, Robert Rodriguez is going with Stan Winston's original design on the predator. The way it should be. Or what? Do you expect to see a pink predator? Or how about a bright purple? C'mon man, give this movie a chance and be positive!

Predator from Predator 2 kind of vibrant colour i am talking about, and i never gave a crap about the bodybuilder look of the Preds in the first AVP movie, Wolf was cool and again not as bland as these Preds we are seeing in the bits of footage and pics leaked, their bio's look huge and stupid looking as well.
I also thought the shot with all the Predators targeting the one guy was a stupid move as well, why the hell would they all need to do that?, one will do.

You also need to keep in mind that predators are not "helmet designers." They are deadly hunters. And that's what their helmets portray. This movie will rock!

No they are not, but they had Stan Winston studios designing for them, and sadly they did not design for them anymore after predator 2.

I did like the look of the Pred that had the helmet with the long tusks that we saw in the teaser. Is that the 'Super' Pred by chance?

from the few leaked pics on youtube, the tasked pred always stands on the side

I wonder how many figures is Hot Toys going to release from this line.
I want Royce the most. If there's one thing missing from the Alien/Predator franchise figure lines...it's the humans.
