It's not up to her.
Her contract for the movie probably stipulates that Warner has the right to license her likeness has Mera any way they see fit.
All these things are dealt with upfront, no studio would depend on their actors willingness to sign off on such things after the facts and potentially derail or delay important revenue streams.
The real issue about potential Black Manta and Mera figures has more likely to do with the original package negotiated between Warner and Hot Toys for the movie Aquaman.
Were Black Manta and Mera included?
If not this could mean new negotiations , new prices etc...

We have to agree that hot toys just won’t do nothing as quick as they come out with figures from Marvel movies such as Cap. Marvel ...

I'm hoping they go all out for Captain Marvel. Every other character aside from her looks great.

Yeah this whole Aquaman line from Hot Toys is just really disappointing. I mean don't get me wrong I love the MCU, but sucks HT doesn't even give the DC movies a chance now, too busy pushing out Marvel release after Marvel release. Judging from Aquaman's success as well as what i've seen from the new Shazam movie, i'm startin to think DC is finally getting it together.

What are you basing that claim on? You seem certain she has the option to not sign off on her image being used for figures. Are you making things up?

This is so typical of HT to go the "one and done" route. However, if Mera or Black Manta don't show up in the next couple of months, or whenever they have their next major show, I would not be surprised to see one of the knock off companies step in. While Manta would be tough, I could easily see Mera being offered as a H+C.
There is no way we don't see more Aquaman figures. The first figure would have to set a record for the lowest selling Hot Toys figure ever for the entire line to be abandoned.
I'd like to think you're correct but HT has gone the one-and-done route with a couple of Marvel solo movies as well (Ant-Man, Dr. Strange), so nothing's certain. Those two are what most of us would consider to be B-Team Marvel heroes, and prior to his movie's release Aquaman was pretty much in the same category for DC (well maybe not B-Team, but a step below the trinity). That combined with the DCEU's track record probably had HT hedging their bets. But hopefully they've reconsidered and will give us a few more figures.
Sadly I'd have to agree. We all want to see Mera and Black Manta get made but assume nothing with Hot Toys these days.
We only got one figure from Wonder Woman so the quality and success of the movie seems to have little bearing on how many figures we see.

Exactly, if the success of a film had anything to do with it then we'd just get avatar, titanic and force awakens figures. I would pre order a movie mera prime 1 statue in a heartbeart. I hope other figures and statues come but i do not think it will happen

Well I mean yeah that's not surprising. CM is a main title character while Mera is not. Really sucks though. I'd take a Mera over a CM right now without hesitation. It'd be cool if Hot Toys did some kind of pole with fans to make some wildcard top voted character but can't see that ever happening. I'll stick with my custom Mera for now but i'd love to see a 3rd party company make a better one somewhere down the line, or i'll commission an Amber Heard headsculpt and hope for the best.Well believe it ...got toys will make C.M but not MERA .
