I really don't get how this is suddenly "the best" when the initial spec photos turned so many people off and the hate was mile high.

Its the same thing. I don't think really changed anything significant. If anything, most final products look a little less good in the paint department in comparison to the initial photos.

Anyways, glad this day is finally here and congrats to everyone thats been waiting - I myself PO on day 1 as well.

Can't wait for OMG photos, then the **** will hit the fan and hopefully even the people who picked this apart will be getting it (i guess that happens on most figures anyways). Hopefully if this sells well, there will be further Predator artist collection figures!

Been saying since day 1 that the figure looked awesome but never really ordered it because I do not collect hot toys. The one thing that bothered me a little bit was the fact that it was kind of a fantasy character not in the movie. ( don't get me wrong...I am completely fine with that considering all predators are fantasy characters). There is something about seeing pictures of an item that is so far from being released to actually seeing in hand pictures. Kind of sparks something and the feelings you know you can have it in hand very soon...draws more peoples interest's again from how it was in the initial release.

I think it's just seeing the in-hand pics that changed the tone of this thread. It's an unusual piece and seeing it in that black plastic tray with its accessories strewn all over as if it were just another normal figure is surreal.

Joker 2.0, Loki and Mark 6 BD will be the other 3 pieces.
