Maybe the Samurai's plasma cannon is worn like jewelry. It's just for aesthetics but doesn't fire a single round.

A few things I just realized...

A predators biomask is vaccuum sealed to it's face/head.
However, the Samurai's helmet/mask combo does not allow for that.

Also, without lens to the mask, this predator lacks the tech necessary for infrared, night vision, etc, that a normal biomask would provide. I wonder how he aims his plasma cannon.

The Samurai pred is either an extremely hardcore hunter or extremely mal-equipped.

I am almost certain that this is not a bio mask but a traditional Samuri helmet. The technology was not available yet for these predators. The shoulder cannon must of been aimed by some kind remote control . Maybe the direction the face mask or Helmot is faceing . But the infrared bio mask were not made until thousands of years later.

Samurais weren't around that long. But anyway, it's all in good fun. I know this is just an artist's interpretation of what a predator in samurai gear would look like.

I have 10 HT predators myself, and I thought I had to many predators in my collection. You have reminded me of the first rule of collecting hot toys, you really just can't own enough preds

i'm just focus in the line so i can collect all of it,

beside HT predator i also collecting HT DX series..
hopefully by time to time this DX series will be come as much as MMS later on and i'm not to late to collect all of it

Just saw the new pictures posted...incredible and makes me want it even more. Love the close up shots of the detail. Hot Toys have really outdone themselves with this figure...though the price is very high for this....dare I saw for what you are getting, its worth it. Truly a work of art...Bravo

I got one for around this price also. Can not believe people are shelling out over $450 for this guy already...but this seems to be the trend on ebay. HK gets them in stock, prices skyrockets for people who can not wait another month. US gets them soon after and the market gets flooded. Shortly after, sellers start piecing them out, prices sky rocket for just the single items. Other sellers follow suit with piecing out...soon the market is flooded and prices go way down. Eventually when the pieces are worthless the figure becomes more worthless. I see this selling for under $300 pretty easy in the next few months...depending on how exclusive it is but considering its not sold out yet on SS...id say, not to exclusive.

I agree. I don't think it will drop lower than $300 though. I think I'm gonna try to shoot for a $350 mark before I buy it. I see a preorder on eBay right now for $380, I think I could live with myself if I payed that much, so I mite end up caving very soon. I'm selling a few figures right now so if those funds come through fast enough for me to jump on that auction I'll take that as a sign.
