It would be really cool if it was Loki as that would break the comic book film mold of getting rid of the villain in each movie and never really mentioning them again.

1. In the comics, Loki is the reason the Avengers form.

2. Loki puts in an appearance in the post-credit Thor clip which deals with the cosmic cube.

3. Given that the cosmic cube was in Cap, and the Thor clip, and was said to be from Odin's vault (or whatever), it is likely going to play a part in the Avengers.

4. Loki was in the Avengers teaser.

From all that, the odds are good that the story will at least in part revolve around Loki trying to get the cosmic cube.

umm how about the on-set pics of Loki fighting cap??? Maybe that's a hint...or them showing the main cast and the only villain is loki...Or the clips from D23 where loki is the villain...just guess though

I think this will be mk vii as mk vi was destroyed at the end of Ironman 2. Just like how mk iii and mk iv were similar in design, mk vi and vii will show similarities. This is all speculation of course.

I read somewhere that the one we're seeing in the promo art is mk viii.
