Congrats Goose. The package is secure.

Anyway on one of my occasional searches through Toys2 I found they have a few back catalogue Predators, albeit with markups but maybe not as high as ebay, I dunno. Have a gander (no pun intended Greygoose!)

The price for a new Chopper isn't too bad... for a mark-up, anyway.

You guys think I should sell my Celtic, Chopper, and AVP Elder here or eBay? I was thinking that the people here are a lot more trustworthy but the interest for these figures have really gone down. And it would be much harder to sell them now for a decent price. Just thought I'd get opinion from everyone here. May only keep Scar and Asia Ancient after this.

Try selling them on here. I'm sure you and the buyer will end up with a good deal at both ends and you don't have to worry about ebay fees.

Or getting ripped off. Ebay scammers make me want to buy collectibles even less. Used to be if you ran out of room, just throw them on ebay and get your money back plus maybe more. But there's too many scammers out there and eBay does nothing to protect sellers so I'm starting to feel like why bother.

Same. I have a few items I'm going to throw up on eBay in the next few weeks, then I'm done with it. Far too risky.

True. Seller don't get any respect or protection on eBay. Guess I'll try here. Better selling for a few bucks less than to suffer a total loss.

Its much better to sell on here than ebay. Sure, people expect an in-community deal. But to be fair it is only fair as there is no 10% ending fee and also you know the thing you are selling is going to a guy you "know" or atleast can look through his post history and whatever. And chances are you will keep seeing pictures of it popping up so even if you miss it you can still see its being looked after. A bunch of my items i still see getting put up in pictures and stuff and its maybe even stuff i sold years ago.

I like when I get to sell to someone I see on the forums a lot for that reason. Knowing you sold to someone with a genuine interest in the product and not someone whose just buying it to resell on ebay for bigger money maybe.

True. These are my pride and joys. Or were at a time. But seeing their photos pop up here and there from someone else's camera from time to time may be a painful reminder. :lol

Man and I still have Chopper and AVP Elder MIB unassembled. Never got the time and space to assemble them (heck, actually, got all 3 super predators still MISB as well)...guess even I should just get out...too bad everyone's getting rid of these classics now that Hot Toys is making figures from every friggen movie, two times or three times over and over. The constant feeling of everyone and his grandmother is collecting Hot Toys should "not" affect my eagerness to collect, but somehow it still does. Guess "collecting what I like, because I like, screw what others think" is just a muse, because who here is honestly 100% "unaffected" in some way or another by what others think about their collection.

/rant, sorry.

If people didnt comment on the pictures i took of my HT figures or the customs i made id curl up into a ball and cry. No matter how much i still like the figures!

All though i have a vast Bio mask collection that i hardly ever show off and a custom 1:1 masked Berserker head. They are just for me. I am unaffected in that case.

On topic of the HT AVP's however. I have owned Scar, Chopper, Elder and both versions of wolf. I regret selling Scar and Elder. But at the time i was after a Leon Kennedy and he was higher valued than both so i needed to take the bullet. Not so much regretting selling Scar now that it appears there will be a new version down the line but i still wouldnt mind owning avp elder again at some point. And hopefully buy a 2nd hand one where somebody has already added the quills! Mine were just sat still on the snap tray

I'll sell you my Elder. :D

It sounds appealing but the price in shipping from usa > uk would probably make it a less viable option than if i just bought one from Europe due to the postage difference :-/. I am not in the market for a AVP Elder right this minute but in a few weeks i probably will be (I've bought a HT, Medicom and a 1:1 Pred mask in the space of 3 days came to about £450). However if you were still looking to sell him and i have the funds in a few weeks ill fire a warning shot across your starboard bow.
