You didn't want it enough I'd say, I think we will see some when the new predator line arrives and ppl swap out, But that's at least 4 to 5 years down the road so yeah the wait is on....

to be honest even when the new ones come out ill still keep my old ones and ill buy the new ones, the old AVP figures are like a badge of honor

True dat, I think even when the new ones come out there will be a select few collectors (connoisseurs) who will chase these old classics and pay for the privilege.

Well I am gonna get an AVP predator and the new ones because I don't think they can do an AVP predator like used to!!! :thud:

I guess pretty much everyone.:viking:chase

Ok but you gotta pay for your own flight and lodging. I've actually visited Toy Hunters about 2 years ago. It really is the only place in Hong Kong you can find any Hot Toys merchandise. The store is actually in this tiny little strip mall on like the 3rd floor and is a lot smaller than one would expect.

Oh me too. I hope they really step up on the head sculpt. If they remold and recycle the classic head again instead of starting from scratch I'm gonna fly to Hong Kong and give them a piece of my mind. Who's with me? :D

Well I'm going to HK next year and I'm planning on visiting the HQ of Hot Toys or Toy hunters, if I can I'll see if I can see any new Predators being sculpted... :peace

Awesome let me know how it goes. I don't know if HT HQ gives tours. When I was there I tried to get info from someone that worked at HT but she was kinda half@$$ed about it so I just gave it up.

I'll do what I can as well.

I had a used avp body with a loose ab joint that was also painted by the original owner so I decided to try customizing it myself. I'm admittedly not the best sculptor or painter but I figured I got nothing to lose here.

not really sure what I"m going to go for here. I've got some avp parts but I'm also wondering if this would make a really cool wolf predator. I'll post more updates when I get more done to it. Again I'm not much of a customizer so any tips you guys can give would be sweet.

the minus of avp body is not as big as the movie,
you need to re-sculpt the body to make it bulky

Making the body too big would mean having to modify all the armors too tho. I could possibly try it but with a super pred body. I have an extra falconer body I was trying to decide what to do with. It also has a broken joint but I think it's fixable. But if I do go that route there's no way I'll be able to make it look as good as the celtic custom that's on this forum.
