I don't know about the best trilogy... The third film was much weaker than the first two.

The first two were very tight and hold up so well. They both have a great watchability factor. Every time they are aired I seem to tune in and am swept away by the stories and action. Like Jaws, I can watch them over and over without growing tired of them. Zemeckis and Gale really created two of the best films of the past 50 years.

Thats spells a great movie to me. I don't care what it grossed or what other people think of it, a great movie to me is one i can watch over and over

Personally I'd go with The Godfather trilogy but I can't argue with the fact that that trilogy does have a severe lack of flying skateboards.
