And whilst we're on the subject of 'best', i think the best movie ever made, ever, in the history of ever is The Goonies

Call me crazy, or just plain wrong, but if i can honestly say that the only film i could watch over and over again is The Goonies, then it has to take the the number 1 spot, right?

Today being Memorial Day and the fact Im being lazy and not wanting to dig through this thread, can someone point me in the direction of the Howad Chan interview talking about the BTTF license? Did they mention if this is indeed going to be a DX or is that just wishful thinking at the moment?

Im hoping for DX myself.

^ pretty sure DX rumour came from that little snippet a sculptor posted on FB originally and Howard Chan recentl said they will be doing Marty and the Delorean, but no mention of DX, so it's unknown right now.

i hope they charge around 500$ for this and donate all proceeds to research and finding cure for him and those like him

There is a definate downward curve to sales as prices increase. They could probably sell far more figures, and thus give more to the charity, by keeping the prices reasonable.

I'm just taking a DX Marty with his orange vest and I'm out. Well maybe a 50's Doc as well but that's it...

Okay. If 50's Biff was announced down the road I would have to check it out at least :monkey3

:slap Where does it say Dracula is from Sweden? :dunno

Q: Do you intend to release the series "Back to the Future"? Characters like Marty McFly and Doc were never made with care. Please Hot Toys, use your technology to make these products!

A: Today we would like to make figures of "Back to the Future"! Whether possible or not, we plan to...

So does Hot Toys have this licence or not? A couple months ago they pretty much confirmed that they had gotten the licence and they will make an announcement "soon". But now, suddenly all they say is something to the effect of that they would like to make the figures someday but it might not be possible?

Isnt that an old interview? They discuss Barbossa being a possibilty where in recent interviews they have said Barbossa is NOT going to happen.

Can we please have a 1/6 scale Delorean (just like they're doing for the 1989 Batmobile!!!)

Obviously this would have to come with a 1/6 Marty or Doc or Einstein!

Naw, this is from two days ago.

It was posted on facebook a few days ago, but does that mean its new? Because it conflicts with past interviews. In past interviews Howard Chan said that they are making BTTF Marty and Delorian. No mention of Doc. And in another past interview They talk about Barbossa and how he is not a possibility for the POTC line. So this interview in its current state at this time makes no sense. :dunno

Also the translation might not all be there.

I dunno, this is the first time I've seen mention of planning at least 3 Arkham City figures. But I'm not sure precisely when these other things were said, and in what context. HT/Howard have been known to be misinterpreted from time to time, now we've seen prototypes shown but not released (Thor Loki), and lines canceled entirely (Green Lantern). Wouldn't shock me if BTTF is not a done deal.

Probably best not to put too much hopes in it happening, anyway, just to avoid a potential let-down if it doesn't.

Yeah, that would be a bummer, but the only official official kinds of announcements we can be pretty safe trusting HT with are pre-orders with solicitation pics. I don't recall them ever deciding against producing something that went up for pre-order.

Didn't HT announce the BTTF line as part of the DX series? I hope they wouldn't be as bold to say they are doing this line and making them DX without some sort of plan in place.
