I'm a Batman junkie, but, as much as I want to see their Arkham City offerings, you would see zero complaints from me if these were announced tomorrow; some of the most fun films ever made, and I'd love to own these figures.

I totally forgotten about this license (to ease the pain of waiting), came here today and still nothing new? :(

Looking at the first post, it's a little over a year. I wonder if this is normal for Hot Toys' properties. They seem to release figures fairly quickly after the announcement. I wonder if they are going through revisions to get it perfect or just having trouble with the different actors' likenesses.

It's fairly typical when you are talking about what they consider lesser licenses without huge sales potential vis-a-vis your Batmen and Iron Men. I can't imagine they are in much of a rush for this. Will be nice if it happens at all, though I can easily see HT deciding against it if the cost/benefit equation doesn't work in their favor as they start having to deal with all the likeness approval and licensing issues (Nike, skateboard logos, Erlewine guitar, possibly the De Lorean though other companies seemed to skirt that one somehow).

DST skirts it by leaving out the DMC logo on the grill. But if/when HT does it, the whining will be heard from space.

The truth of what you have said actually infuriates me. And I aint even waiting for BTTF personally.

I've got a feeling that we will definitely (eventually) see this line. I saw an interview with Howard from HT discussing SW and his decision to go with Bespin Luke for the first figure - in the interview, his responsed revealed that the guy was a child of the '80s and if there's one thing that kids of the '80s loved, it was BTTF.

It is normal for most. There are lots that are years since announcement with no pre-orders.

I'm pretty picky these days on what I pick up, this is one line where I'd buy pretty much anything without a second thought.

I'm okay of waiting BTTF DX figure as long as at the time it is announced, I will be blown off by the awesomeness of a 1/6 DeLorean :rotfl

I hope they release it soon before their prices increase even more. I'm sure we'll have to wait until Iron Man season is over.. which will be never.

A 1/6 Delorean would be the first 1/6 figure/vehicle that I would buy with the sentence "I don't care how much it cost, I want it" :rotfl
