Haha, true. But a Delorean would be substantially more complex and contain dozens of small parts.
Id estimate the cost of the thing to be $850 minimum.

How much does a healthy kidney go for these days?

I think we are going to see the production slowed down and get them spaced out a bit more now that they aren't all building towards something.
At the very least I think we aren't going to see anymore summers of almost a half dozen superhero movies for awhile.

Ok, that i can agree with the likeliness of. I think we'll probably see 1 or 2 a year from now on/

Meh movie=meh figures.

I guess I never got on the BTTF train, liked the movie enough as a kid, but dont care much for it these days. Never thought much of the sequels.

On a positive note here is Michael J Fox performing Johnny B. Goode just a few days ago

Michael J. Fox has come out and said that he regrets the decision to not get on board with licensing himself with regards to his characters, so I don't think this is completely off-base from reality. It would be nice if it was true b/c it would save a lot of people from spending lots of cash on custom versions.

Well, Mattel acquired the license and they can use Fox's and Lloyd likenesses, but they are sitting on it for some stupid reason... but the important thing is that the likeness is available... at least for BTTF Marty and Doc!

I hope this becomes a reality. We know Hot Toys has shown interest in BTTF with the wish list earlier. Also Mattel has rights to produce figures based upon Marty and Docs likeness. Mattel isn't going to do any figures though. So hopefully Hot Toys will work out a deal in the future.
