Can i ask you how did you did those grey stands for Doctor Strange for example and others?
They are simply metal U-channel from a local online place (in Germany). I think they were Steel 1mm I think, or perhaps 0,75mm ?? Had to be strong enough not to buckle with the weight, which there is no danger of. But they were pre painted and came with that plastic peel off protection. I recall they were bent to the dimensions I needed. But that was not so expensive.

They were actually the most cost effective solution I could find for the money/lengths. And I looked around a lot. I did want to create some end stops, but haven't got to that yet. Alternatively spray painting the inside black before removing the protection plastic would also have helped, but looking straight on your don't really see it.

An alternative I have seen is a glass step, but I liked the possibility to move the U-channel around a bit to have a little flexibility.

Thank you for the information! Could you please give me the website. I'm interested in!

I've never been one for Detolfs. I like my display spaced out somewhat as well so the figures can breath. Horizontal space is the way to go. And if you can achieve some depth to allow some alternation of the figures you can get a good amount displayed per length of display.

I made this myself, but Moducases are also a good way to have a better high quality display for these expensive figures !

How do you find this to work dust wise. DO you have to clean it a lot?

I'm rubbish with my hands (well, in come circumstances!) If you were in the UK I'd pay you to come make proper use of the space I have.

Depends on the room I guess. It's my work room, and I try not to have the window open all the time.

So therefore it's not too bad. Probably clean every 5-6 months I guess. I have been toying with trying an air cleaner, but haven't done that yet. Doing a quick wipe over only takes a few minutes per shelf, so it's not mega difficult.

Adding perspex covers would be possible as well. However I like the idea of looking at them without the glass in the way myself.

Had to post it here...

After seeing how a Lego delorean can make the wheels closer to the body with a flip function, HT has no excuse.

Well Queen Studios getting the license explains why all of sudden we got more BttF from Hot Toys.

Rooted hair Doc in the future possibly?

On Justin’s stream, John from Queen Studios says they intend to make a 1:6 delorean. Couldn’t say which version, hasn’t gone beyond paperwork at this point.
Interesting. Since they haven't even done the paper work yet.. probably a long ways out if it comes to fruition... and probably will be more expensive than HT.

So John seemed to think we would see it later this year, but he also said he knows that it's planned only because he saw the word "Delorean" on a piece of paper for upcoming projects. As I suggested in another thread, if they haven't even begun prototyping yet, then I think John may be speaking beyond his area of expertise on when to realistically expect things that aren't already well into development.

I mean after all, it took them two years of behind the scenes work to reach the point of having one figure available for pre-order.

Also it doesn't mean it will get made either. It's just an idea that could possibly could be something. Did he say QS got the BTTF licence or the Delorean licence? I think you may need both of them to make the BTTF vehicle.

That's a good question and it here's where it gets more confusing: after he said they're doing the Delorean but all he'd seen was the word Delorean on a piece of paper, he was asked if they would also do BTTF figures to go with it and he suggested nothing was in the works and they probably couldn't because it was a Universal license. Every answer he gives just seems to create more questions.

Imagine he saw on the edge of a piece of paper... "Delorean" and the folder it's in is "scrapped projects" LOL
