They are simply metal U-channel from a local online place (in Germany). I think they were Steel 1mm I think, or perhaps 0,75mm ?? Had to be strong enough not to buckle with the weight, which there is no danger of. But they were pre painted and came with that plastic peel off protection. I recall they were bent to the dimensions I needed. But that was not so expensive.Can i ask you how did you did those grey stands for Doctor Strange for example and others?
They were actually the most cost effective solution I could find for the money/lengths. And I looked around a lot. I did want to create some end stops, but haven't got to that yet. Alternatively spray painting the inside black before removing the protection plastic would also have helped, but looking straight on your don't really see it.
An alternative I have seen is a glass step, but I liked the possibility to move the U-channel around a bit to have a little flexibility.
