I think all of us would rather they delay slightly than deal with this. You can see also at this one (starting at 38:40) the rear right wheel catches and doesn't come down easy- probably because of the clearance issue
Seems to me that most vehicles reviewed are having issues getting the wheel fully out and then fully down.
That tells me there is a definite flaw in the design. I guess that is what we get for asking for such a change so late into the process.
I suppose loosening the screws and a small amount of baby oil might not hurt- but best option appears to be to not rotate the tires at all- which is a shame because that was sort of the point, wasn't it?
I wish JazzInc would have offered one of these - yes it would have been twice as much money, but it also would not be falling apart ten minutes after unboxing.
It might of been the late change in the design that has tripped them up, yeah I cant help feeling though HT must of known this mechanism was liable to fail! You would think a company that could engineer something as complex as the Hulkbuster could figure out how to design a sturdy flip-down wheel mechanism. Worst case scenario, we could be looking at an “Iron Monger cracked hips” situation where the design is so fundamentally flawed that it is just going to happen sooner or later on all these BTTF2 Deloreans.
That is helpful but its just a natural reaction when something is stiff, to give a bit of a jiggle. I can see loads of these getting busted and returned.Seeing how it operates was very helpful. I agree the sideways twisting of the wheel + pulling did that stress point no favors.
Yeah that'll be the first thing I do before I even attempt to pull the wheels out.Maybe a bit of going over with a hair dryer to. Plastic can be fairly brittle at room temp. Maybe a quick blast of heat would help with these issues?
Curious to see what the instructions say about the wheels.Hard to believe HT didn't encounter this issue during their testing. Unless the factory is just tightening everything up far more than they were supposed to.
Yeah it is a bit of a head scratcher how they missed this. Do you remember the first HT Deadpool figure had those issues with the gloves rubbing and wearing away the fabric of the suit. I seem to remember HT changed the design for the following batches to avoid this issue.Hard to believe HT didn't encounter this issue during their testing. Unless the factory is just tightening everything up far more than they were supposed to.
Me to.Curious to see what the instructions say about the wheels.
