Yes they are, I got my HT's Michael Jackson Beat It figures from them LOOONG AGO But I like to have the points from Sideshow, Wish I would have known those were coming to Sideshow.

I've dealt with AmiAmi before in the past with no problems.

I pre-ordered on Sideshow before I knew they had them in-stock. Anyone know if I cancel before the $30 deposit is charged, will I still owe that or no?

Gonna guess you are boned on that as its a NRD. You could always call and ask, but I think if you cancel now you will still get hit with the charge.

Did pay with Paypal? You have 45 days to file a claim... wait for the 1st set to arrive (therefor no shenanigans) then file a claim with Paypal to get your money pack on the 2nd set. Easy squeezy

Paypal said they're authorized charges. It's a bit confusing... I sent the initial payment as USD but they needed it JPY so refunded me. It was in my Paypal account so I transferred that to Ami Ami as JPY... but Ami Ami charged my card again as JPY.

Doesn't matter if its authorized... if they don't have the product you should be able to get a refund. Bummer the money used was from Paypal... if its a credit card or bank you can sometimes go through them to get a chargeback.

Paypal can be a bit of a pain in the ass but if you call and harass them enough they'll get you your money back.

All the flippers on ebay are pissed now Glad they just now got this, because I was kicking myself for not getting it (because I love the Demon Bats look) and didn't want to pay $300+ just for the Demon Bats.

Okay... well at least that's better than having your money tied up indefinitely. You'll definitely be able to break even on the 2nd set or even make a few bucks selling it.

Yeah I figured I could get a bit of a profit off that. It came out to $140 a figure and I plan to move them for about a tiny profit. Probably wont find a Scarecrow buyer any time soon, but a guy on another board wants Demon Bat.

Then they have kittens later when it's not as rare as they had hoped, I can hear all the disgust and sighs for the high prices they had paid.

Reminds me when the oil strikes were on, amazing how empty all the bread shelves were going to any supermarket. Far too many gullible people in this world, sadly.
