I used EMS, too. It was a little pricey, but with the set being so cheap to start with, it still came to less than what Sideshow is charging. Great deal!

(Not sure what Sideshow will be charging for shipping, but when everything's factored in I'm guessing it'll be an overall difference of somewhere between $30 and $40 maybe?)

amiami's price is cheaper even after including EMS shipping compared to SS.

Plus amiami's is the version that includes the Tokyo numbered certificate... the SS one doesn't.

I don't see any reason why one would pick SS over amiami.

How do you know this?

I got one from SSC because of the flexpay and I don't really like to order stuff from other countries unless I have to.

Because SSC is not located in Japan. The certificate directly indicates it's from the Tokyo 10th Anniversary Event.

That isn't proof, just an assumption. Not that I care if I get a piece of paper with mine or not.

I guess we can roll with that.

Just bringing it up because some people do get ____ about every little thing (including me, why take the gamble when you can pick up the gauranteed cheaper version?).

Do you think AmiAmi went to the show and got their product there? I doubt it. So I don't know if we can make any assumptions based on if Sideshow will have these or not. I guess if you need to have this certificate guaranteed, then get it from an Asian vendor.

No, but since it was initially Japan exclusive, I would think Japanese resellers were able to get a hold of the stock.

And no Asian seller has the Tokyo version except for ones located in Japan. So don't just buy from any asian seller if you're looking for the little black paper. The HK version seems to be standard for everyone outside. Very easy to figure out by watching the ebay stock.

Do you know for a fact that this is a brand new run and not just HT liquidating unsold stock? :dunno

Agreed. If it were a new run, I think Sideshow might have marketed it differently and had more to sell. But who knows, maybe Sideshow only got a small 2nd run. But once again- If they are getting a limited number in a 2nd run, wouldn't they list this on their website? I really don't know what is going on with Sideshow and this set.

Got mine today as well... it arrived on Monday, but I missed the delivery and was unable to pick it up until today.

Set is in pristine condition... didn't even notice any scuffs on the packaging. Small ding in the outer cardboard box, but it did its job.

I used SAL Registered for mine, and my tracking hasn't been updated in a few days :(
