I am basing this off on most people not caring for demon bats and just want the crow so they will off set the cost by selling him and flooding the market. Write it down.

Plus that is a different situation. Different movies and more dominate screen time and not a 2 pack.

I personally feel both these figures are not up to Hot Toys standards, and I suspect it's because Yulli didn't do the sculpts.

Yeah screen time really hurt the Guardian Predator's sales too

If a figure is cool, people will keep it. And for only $50 back, I think most people would just keep him at that point. $100 maybe, but people aren't stupid. They won't part these out for peanuts.

$50 was being a smart ass remark but come on no way this thing will command top dollar.

yeah for $50 I would agree most will just keep it for spareparts. Isn't someone selling his OC or TDK boots for $50? $80-120 is likley but nowhere close to the $200 that the I don't remember who said it would sell for.

No doubt the Bat Demon will sell for much cheaper loose than the Scarecrow, but it will be a limited quantity, so it won't necessarily sell for peanuts.

I'm considering picking up two sets if they're easy enough to acquire in the two-pack - in which case I would sell the second Bat Demon (since there's only need for one of those). Others probably have no interest at all in the Bat Demon, so even the allure of spare parts isn't as much as great as $50. $50 isn't a lot compared to how much the two-pack will probably sell for, but if you have no interest in the Demon and no need for the parts, you'd probably rather have extra pocket change than a figure you have zero desire for.

This was me:

I'd buy Demon Bats separately for $120. That's what he's worth as he is IMO, but ebay will tell a different story. People will sell him as an exclusive with a price to match, but it'd be interesting to see what people are prepared to pay. I predict people will be asking around $220.

Not saying it will sell for $220, but that people will be asking this much for it. Whether buyers are prepared to go this high, I dunno.

It depends on how exclusive this thing is, 2000 for Japan 2000 for everywhere else is that right? A solid portion of that 4000 would have to be selling off Bats for the price to hover around a hundred bucks is my opinion...

I would agree that original costume missing folk will be hunting down the demon bats neck-down set. Imagine all that rubber with a custom HS? Epic win!
