How much later does OSK release it after HT/Sideshow?
I've ordered a handful of Hot Toys from Kit. They have usually been shipped 2-6 weeks before Sideshow. They won't be first batch or anything, but are still earlier time frame than Sideshow. Plus you save about $20 with Kit after the tax and shipping from SSC.

Asked Jaxon if he had any plans on making a replacement cape for Robin with an accurate maroon interior, and he liked my message. Hopefully that mean’s he’ll do one! :woo

Watched Batman & Robin last night. It had probably been since at least the early 2000s that I last watched it (aside from random clips). I have to say I didn’t hate it like I once did.

Definitely not a perfect movie and far from my preferred version of Batman, but I think if you take it as camp much like the 66 series it’s okay in an odd way.

I personally find both Schumacher Bat-films very re-watchable. I can just switch my brain off and enjoy fantastic visuals, fun over-the-top villains, and imaginative action throughout. I never get bored watching them.

But I guess the thing is, when I put these movies on, I'm not expecting a dark brooding Batman in a dark gritty world. I'm expecting vibrant colour and over-the-top action and plot. So I'm never disappointed.

And just FYI, I love the Burton movies and the Nolan movies just as much.

It's actually very poetic that live action batman went through the same phases as comic batman. He goes from dark gritty origins with 89 and 92 to campy with BF and B&R and returns to Dark and gritty in Nolans trilogy, and the DCEU, and The Batman. Soon with Gunn's DCU he will be a mix of lighthearted and Dark.
